1962 Chevy Nova 2-dr Hardtop on 2040-cars
Lake Havasu City, Arizona, United States
Perfect project to start; but need to sell as its been sitting in the garage far
too long. The car is a shell but is
almost entirely rust free. Tiny bit of
rust spots in the rear pass quarter but not material. Has a few pinholes in the driver floorboards;
no rust in the window columns or any critical areas. I have some parts for it, as well but no drivetrain. I have the fenders, doors, door and quarter
glass pieces and frames, seat frames (took off all the old upholstery but
frames and springs are in great shape), hood, front clip that has been removed, original rear-end
and original wheels. The bad: the rear driver side quarter needs to be replaced.
Some damage over the fenderwell lip and lots of bondo by the tail light (see
pics). That's it; overall the car is in
great shape for sitting dormant for so long.
I bought the car in California and now is currently in Arizona (Lake Havasu).
Dolly is NOT included in sale. Shipping or transportation is sole responsibility of buyer. |

Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia
Sun, 03 Feb 2013It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.
Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs
Sun, 01 Dec 2013
The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
Chevrolet Captiva looks mildly refreshed and ready for family duty
Tue, 05 Mar 2013We showed you Chevrolet's major debut yesterday, the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible, but General Motors is making a big push for Bowtie consideration in Europe, so it's also introducing the updated Captiva crossover here at the Geneva Motor Show.
While still based on the same platform as North America's fleet-only Captiva Sport (which is effectively a rebadged Saturn Vue), the Captiva is available in both five- and seven-seat iterations, and it looks far more modern. That's particularly the case with this updated model, which features revamped front- and rear ends that include restyled bumpers, grilles and LED taillamps, among other changes.
As before, the midsize Theta-platform CUV will be available in both front- and all-wheel drive, and is expected to carry a range of four- and six-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines. Important US programming note: Chevrolet sources tell us that America's Captiva Sport will not receive these updates.
