Hard Sell to Women-Women beware!

I`ve been going here for several years and so I was quite shocked on my last visit for my free tire balance ( I bought almost 600 dollars in tires 6 months prior) to get a couple of phone calls informing me of what was wrong with my car and how much it would cost. I was given the impression my brakes were failing and it would cost around $500.00. I told them not to fix them since I was out of pocket for that amount... view more. Then, I get another phone call saying my alignment is out and would I like the lifetime alignment for $170` something. I said no. Long story short, they never explained what I needed to have done when I picked the car up, just gave me an estimate of what I needed to have done.. about $800.00 worth of work. I took the paperwork to a friend and he said it said I had 10% wear on my back brakes & 30% wear on the front. According to the specs in the repair manual for my car,I was still well within the safety ranges. This deserved a phone call from the Firestone employee telling me my brakes were bad? I was so upset by this call that I started to cry. Come to find out that it wasn`t that urgent? There was also a big greasy handprint on my driver`s side door and fingerprints all over the car. Grease was also all on my steering wheel. They are totally not getting anymore of my business.
