ABS brakes, power steering/brakes, windows and doors, cruise control, tilt steering, custom seating, and privacy windows. New tires, tune up, fuel filter, tranny lines, brakes, windshield blades, hoses to windshield washer, and more little things that needed replaced when I got it. My garage in Shady Cove did some of the work and Shultz Automotive did the rest, except the work I did myself, like adding extensions to the front seat belts to accommodate larger people. We drove it to Wyoming and back a few times with no problems at all! The only thing it is missing is 2 of the rear seats, they were gone when I got it, but can be picked up at a salvage yard cheap if desired. We hauled stuff for camping and our Outreach Program so we never needed them and wanted the extra space. All rear passenger seats are removable for ease of use and versatility. It's in clean, great running condition!!"

It is in clean, great condition inside and out. It could use a little spray adhesive to make the roof liner flat again and a few trim pieces of fabric stick in the corners, and the roof of the cab could be sanded and repainted to match (someone previously painted the top black?? No idea why when the rest is white, but...OK!) but, then, I am a perfectionist! Lol!

FOR OBVIOUS REASONS, SHIPPING IS NOT PROVIDED, YOU MUST COME, TEST DRIVE AND EXAMINE IT TO YOUR SATISFACTION BEFORE PURCHASING AND I WILL TAKE YOU TO OR MEET YOU AT THE MEDFORD,OREGON DMV TO TRANSFER OWNERSHIP PAPERWORK BEFORE YOU CAN TAKE OWNERSHIP OF THE VEHICLE TO PROTECT EVERYONE!

C7 Corvette turbo with 1,000 horsepower promised from Hennessey

Mon, 25 Feb 2013

If you can't wait for the next-generation Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Hennessey says they will have you covered. The Texas-based company has announced it will offer a spate of upgrades for the 2014 Corvette ranging from a range of bolt-on options all the way up to a 1,000-horsepower, twin-turbo system. Buyers can start with a cold air intake, cat-back exhaust or stainless steel long-tube headers, but Hennessey says it will also offer up three stages of forced induction mayhem should those bits and baubles not provide enough thrust.
Those choices start with a supercharger system good for up to 700 hp, though Hennessey will gladly ditch the blower in favor of two turbos. Doing so will spin the crank to the tune of 800 horsepower all the way up to a certifiably ludicrous 1,000 ponies. There's no word on how much these tricks will cost you - or when they will be available, as we're guessing they haven't gotten their hands on the car yet - but you can head over to the Hennessey site to drop them a line if you're curious.

GM sweetens military discount for Buick, Chevy and GMC

Sun, 06 Oct 2013

American servicemen and women interested in a new vehicle from Chevrolet, Buick or GMC now have a bit more incentive to head down to their local dealer, as General Motors has announced plans to improve its military discount program.
The new GM Military Discount Program offers eligible consumers a new Chevy, Buick or GMC at invoice pricing, which in some cases can take very large chunks out of a car's retail price. When factored in with other incentives, most of which are available with the Military Discount, the bargains are thick on the ground for members of the US armed forces.
GM's Retail Sales and Marketing Support general manager, Chuck Thomson, said, "GM has long supported the military and military families, and we hope this simplified and enhanced discount will show our appreciation for their service and help make it easier for them to own one of our great new vehicles." The program is open to all active duty and reserve members in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and Coast Guard, as well as veterans that have been out of the service for less than a year. Military retirees and their spouses are also eligible for the discount.

Read This: Auto Extremist advocates for Corvette as brand with multiple models [w/poll]

Fri, 25 Jan 2013

The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette really grinds Peter De Lorenzo's gears. Or, more accurately, the self-anointed Auto Extremist has an issue with what he sees as mismanagement of the legendary sports car by General Motors executives. In a new editorial on his website, De Lorenzo argues it's time to split Corvette off from Chevrolet to create an all-new brand, complete with a model range with at least three new takes on the sports car. Capable of fully leveraging the successes of the Corvette Racing program and brandishing the full might of GM's technical prowess, the Corvette brand would theoretically give Porsche something to sweat over.
Sure, that sounds like a party, but given GM's troubled track record when it comes to launching (let alone managing) brands, we say that's slippery slope that could just as easily end with the whole Corvette franchise in the scrap bin. Either way, the notion is certainly an interesting one. Head over to Auto Extremist to take in the full editorial, and then let us know what you think in Comments. Should GM split off its most storied nameplate?
