this is one cool truck that is super solid, was built to look like a barn find, but is very modernized .some of its unique features are power windows ,Dakota digital dash ,power brakes, power steering,cd player, tinted glass, painless wire harness, just to name a few .the body is a solid 64 swb fleetside with new teal patina paint and lucky 13 speed shop door logos with flat clear.hood is aftermarket fiberglass.the inside and under the hood is ppg emerald city flip flop paint that turns green, blue and purple with big flakes.the truck does have an aftermarket ac unit in the dash, but needs compressor and condenser under hood. the power brakes are all new ,still has drums all the way around to keep the six lug look, but will stop on a dime.the wheels are by wheels vintique and are 10'' on rear and 7'' on front with new tires that are 275/60 on rear and 215/70 on front ,they are sanded white wall not paint.the motor is a 350 with a nice 292 cam ,and 882 heads that runs through coated full length headers that are backed by a set of flowmasters.the engine is backed by a turbo 350 trans, witha 2000 stall.gas tank is a custom aluminum tank mounted under the bed rear.truck is a good running and driving truck that I drive on a daily basis ,has a clear Louisiana title any questions u can contact me 985-774-1849 Lee

Officially Official: Chevrolet replaces Daewoo name in Korea

Chevrolet Camaro in Korea - Click above for high-resolution image
There once was a time when Daewoo was one of the biggest companies in South Korea. It was larger than both LG and Samsung, and second only to Hyundai. But these days the name is all but gone.
Artist imagines eerie world where cars have no wheels
Thu, 24 Jan 2013The wheel ranks right up there with the telescope and four-slice toaster in the pantheon of inventions that have moved humankind forward. But what if a circle in three dimensions had never occurred to anyone, and we all had just moved on without it? Perhaps we'd be driving around in Lucas Motors Landspeeders with anti-gravity engines. Or maybe we'd have the same cars we do today, just without wheels.
That's the thought experiment that seems to have led French photographer Renaud Marion to create his six-image series called Air Drive. The shots depict cars throughout many eras of motoring that look normal except for one thing: they have no wheels. The models used include a Jaguar XK120, Cadillac DeVille (shown above), Chevrolet El Camino and Camaro, and Mercedes-Benz SL and 300 roadsters.
Perhaps one day when our future becomes our past, you'll be able to walk the street and see with your own eyes the rust and patina of age on our nation's fleet of floating cars. Until then, Monsieur Marion's photographs will have to do.
2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette wastes no time zooming into Jay Leno's Garage
Thu, 24 Jan 2013Where else would you expect the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to show up first? Although this time it isn't exactly in Jay Leno's Garage, Leno instead playing an away game at Brown's Classic Auto in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nor does Leno drive the car, instead taking an 11-minute walkaround of the new American sports car with General Motors design head Ed Welburn, the same man who recently brought by a string of classic Corvettes to the talk show host's California compound.
It is, admittedly, a love-fest for the American sports car now featuring 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, but one that also features admissions about previous Corvette seats like "they were kinda rough," and the explanation that labeling the coupe "Stingray" means not having to call it "the base Corvette." On top of that, Welburn also explains the proper application of the term "dashboard." You can watch it all in the video below.
