I used Sunset Auto for over 10 years while living in Vegas. They are the only ones that I could really trust & always knew that they would not inflate the bill. Faulty Repair Work

I have been going to this shop for a long time and unfortunately my business wasn`t appreciated. My vehicle was repaired improperly which caused a significant transmission leak and ultimately transmission failure. They installed a radiator and negligently forgot to attach the transmission and coolant lines. The manager was not very helpful, apologetic, nor did he seem to to take responsibility for the issue. He i... view morenstead thought it was in his best interest to blame the age of my vehicle, giving him adequate excuse to make a mistake and get away with it. Did not offer a refund or repair. I question the experience of the mechanics now working there. You know the quality and character of a business when an issue arises.

WOW! Great thorough auto service!

A friend told me of this great and I do mean great place to have your car repaired. Mike, MD and Michael stunned me with their thoroughness, honest aproach and well - words fail me. I have had many, many cars, both imported and domestic and they are the best I have found in the last 30 years. The results of their inspection of my car literally stunned me. WOW! what a difference and they are busy but not too busy to look you in the eye with the results. Fast, accurate and saved me a ton of money!!!!

I was really impressed with this auto shop. I had been told by another place that I would need $1300 worth of work done on my car and another shop couldn`t even figure out what was wrong. Both of the other places came recommended. I found Sunset Auto on citysearch and read the reviews and decided to get a third opinion. The peole there got me in fast and found the problem within 30 min. They fixed it within 10mi... view moren and I left with my car working and only had to pay less than $60. I told my friend who lives out of town about this shop and she said when she lived here she only used them because of their great service. My mom just called me with a car problem and I sent her over today. Definately a great find!!

HONEST, FAST and RELIABLE shop!!! They don`t tell you to fix what you don`t need! They are GREAT!!!

I went in to get an oil change at this other place in Vegas and was given a complimentary check on my car to make sure all was running ok. I was given an estimate of $1800 and was told the water pump needed to be replaced. When I mentioned it to my husband (Who is deployed) was floored that this place had given me this outrageous amount especially knowing that we take care of our car regularly, and don`t let it get o... view moreut of control. I did a search and saw this place SUNSET AUTO that had quite a few positive reviews. I decided to take my car in, from the moment I brought it in I was taken care of with such care, just like a VIP. MD the manager checked my car, and asked me if I had some time so they can do a 27 point inspection I of course said yes, and I waited and honestly I was expecting another high quote! To my surprise he said it would cost under $200 because it was a hose that was leaking and needed to be replaced NOT the water pump! I wanted to jump up and hug him. In these times $1800 is a lot of money and with my husband being deployed money is tight. MD told me that he came from a military family (USMC) same branch as my husband, and at that moment I felt complete trust and knew they were the place where we would finally find that was HONEST, and LOYAL and we`d become customers for life! So needless to say that if you`re trying to find a good, reliable, honest place that wont lie to you because you`re a woman you need to bring it in to Sunset Auto they are WONDERFUL!! Great customer service! They will give you a ride home and drive you back, something other shops don`t do! They are amazing! Thank you Sunset Auto! Ask for MD or James, they are awesome!

if your a women this is where you want to go for automotive repair!

When I walked into Sunset Auto I felt comfortable. I would have never thought an auto repair shop would have such a nice and CLEAN waiting area. Mike & MD are awesome. I just came from a shop that gave me a list of stuff they said I HAD to do. But the guys over at Sunset went through my whole car and found my engine was stalling (sometimes) because i had a bad connection at my alternator . MD explained everything to me so I could understand without making me feel like an idiot. The guys there are like a big family and they make you feel like your a part of it. Best Auto Repair

I have lived in this area since 1985, the experiences that I have had with car repair have been horrible. Great Service and Honest

Mike and the guys at Sunset are honest and reliable. Me and my husband have been coming to them for the three years since we`ve lived in Las Vegas and we have no complaints. Also a girl I work with at my job has been using them for about 8 years and has no complaints either.
