Here is a very nice 1999 Chevy Tahoe 2 Door in storm gray metallic. The last year chevy made the 2 door body. It is all original paint except for the hood. The hood was replaced due to some hail damage. it was just painted on the top. The underside is white . Everything works great except the back up lights. Probably the back up light switch. Has a power steering return hose seeping & the rear end cover is also seeping slightly. It has 305/50/20 terra grappler tires and boss wheels. Tires have about 25% left. I have another set of goodyear eagle LS2 275/55/20 with 75% tread i will thow in with a buy it now purchase. Brand new flowmaster dual exhaust system with bowtie exhaust tips. The sound system is a pioneer avic-n3 cd,dvd,gps, polk audio 6" 2 way & jbl tweeters in the front doors. 6" side kicker 3 way speakers in b pillars next to rear seats. Dual inclosed sub box with 2 12" subs. Sub powered by an adjustable dual 450 watt amp. The inclosed sub box gives an awesome deep,tight bass sound without rattling all your windows & sheetmetal which I think is a trashy sound. I replaced the center console with a more modern 2005 Tahoe center console which gives it a nice look. It is bolted down in the factory mounting holes. I do have the original old style bullet console also. Very few dents and 1 small area of rust on the left rear door at the bottom (see pic). Runs great with no mechanical issues. I replaced the oxygen sensors & mass air flow sensor about 5k miles ago. Also performed tune up,replaced fuel filter & cleaned the throttlebody. It has a k&n filter kit which really allows it to breathe with plenty of power & sound great with the deep rumble of the dual exhaust. It sounds great but not annoying. I replaced the factory grill with billet inserts & replace headlamp & park lamps giving it a nice sporty look. I am only selling because i have too many other vehicles & have been out of work due to having foot surgery. I really hate to sell it as there are very few 2 door tahoes left in descent shape especially in a nice color & condition. Runs & looks great for the age. Mainly highway miles. Engine runs great with no smoking or ticking. Please ask any questions before bidding. I would consider a partial trade for a nice kimber ultra carry II, raptor or colt defender 45 pistol. 2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut

Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.

Toyota tops Kelley Blue Book's Resale Value Awards

Kelley Blue Book announced its annual Best Resale Value Award winners, and we weren't too surprised to see the list dominated by Japanese automakers - mainly Toyota and Honda. KBB hands out the awards based on the projected residual value of mostly all 2013 model year vehicles, and Toyota skated home with a number of awards including 10 of the 22 overall categories and having five of its products in the top 10 for models with best resale value. KBB's Best Resale Value Awards were announced in the same week as the ALG Residual Value Awards, and there were many similarities between both lists, especially when it came to Toyota.
To come up with its winners, KBB measures depreciation over the first five years of ownership, and looks for the cars it expects to hold its value the best after this time; on average, the report says the 2013 model year vehicles will lose 61.8 percent of its value in five years. Of the 22 categories, 15 slots were filled by Toyota, Honda and Nissan products, while the Camaro and Porsche (Cayenne and Panamera) each took home a pair of awards. If Toyota has anything to be upset about in this list of cars, it's that categories for Hybrid/Alternative Energy Car and Electric Vehicle went to the Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Volt, respectively.

Steve McQueen's last movie car, now Pawn Stars-owned, up for auction [w/video]

The last car Steve McQueen ever drove in a movie is officially up for auction. The 1951 Chevrolet Styline DeLuxe Convertible you see above is now owned by none other than Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars fame, but once ferried McQueen around the set of his last film, 1980's The Hunter. That flick saw the Bullit star play a bumbling bounty hunter and didn't exactly set the box office on fire. McQueen bought the car after production wrapped, and four years later it sold at his estate sale at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Flash forward to 2003, and the convertible received a full restoration back to near-stock specifications. Hagerty Insurance estimates the car to be worth around $45,000 without the significant providence. Given its ties to one of film's most popular gearheads, the old Chevrolet could fetch up to 10 times that when it goes under the gavel in Ft Luaderdale, Florida on March 22.
