1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Resto Mod on 2040-cars

Up for sale is a 1967 Chevrolet Resto Mod. This car has had a full nut and bolt frame off restoration. None of the old suspension parts were used and new tublar upper and lower control arms as well as all rear end with tublar upgrades w/heavy duty front and rear sway bars. Complete with four wheel disc brakes drilled an slotted and all stainless brake and gas lines. New stainless steel gas tank. All bolts were replaced with stainless steel. Body was stripped of all paint, installing new quarters, floor pans, door, fender, hood, trunk deck, bumpers etc, every single part on this car has pretty much been replaced. Engine: 454 stroked to 496. bored .060 w/ 10.2:1 forged racing pistons, H beam rods, Pro Comp alum heads w/roller rockers, air gap intake with 850 quick fuel Holly carb. MSD 6AL Ignition. Motor has less than 3,000 miles Has full March pully single belt system complete with Vintage air. Transmission: M22 Four speed rebuilt w/hurst shifter Rear End: New 308 Posi 12 bolt Paint: PPG Viper Pearl Blue base coat clear coat. Under side was coated in Raptor bed liner color matched to the body. Interior: Floors were sprayed with Eastwood sound proof plus stick on sound proofing on top of that. Everything replaced, Black in color. Gauges all new with SS package. Exhaust: Hooker ceramic headers w/Flowmasters Exterior: Car has all new glass w/new chrome. Every piece of chrome piece has been replaced

2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut
Sat, 16 Feb 2013Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.
