2000 Chevrolet Silverado LS, 3500 (1 ton) four door crew cab, 237,000 miles and is ready another 237,000. The truck runs great, and does not leak a drop. It was customized for looooooog road trips, and has two TV's in the back head rest. I had my PS2 hooked up to it. It has a DVD player with wireless rear head phones , Bluetooth, and XM. The truck has the removable 5th wheel hitch, as well as a wireless remote hydraulic 1500lb tommylift lift gate, and a regular hitch. New Battery, and tires (10 ply ) have 6000 miles. Comes with 2 inch and 2 11/32 Draw tie receivers. Keyless entry as well. ALL maintenance has been performed. transmission, fuel pump, water pump, fan, and fan clutch, Oil, air filters, tune up. I just installed a brand new radiator I simply do not use it anymore, and I'm selling my 5th wheel as well.
Lift gate alone cost me 2500.00 My truck is for sale locally, so this auction may end abruptly. I can pick you up at the airport, or I can ship this anywhere you'd like. My friend owns an auto transport business, so the cost would be 1/2 of the normal fee. I've had it moved to Miami (from LA) for 650.00 I am the original owner, and I have taken good care of the truck. It's reliable, and perfect for delivery's. I used it to deliver copiers, and office equipment. Most of the miles come from towing my 5th wheel, which weighs 11,000 loaded, and does not even feel it. It has the 7.4 liter, 454 which is reliable, and easy to work on as well. The hazard lights flicker when activated, and the windshield wipers don't always return to the home position. This is a minor electrical malfunction, which I never corrected, but felt I should disclose. It has run 210 degrees it's whole life. I took it into the mechanic, and he noticed it was running 215 to to 220. He recommended a new radiator, so I replaced it. Happy Bidding ! 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible headed for Geneva debut
Mon, 28 Jan 2013While most of the world is still coming down from all the hype surrounding the debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this month, we're already looking to the future. And according to Autoweek, the next chapter in the C7 story will unfold at the Geneva Motor Show in March. That's right, General Motors is reportedly using the Swiss stage as its venue to debut the Corvette Stingray convertible.
If this strikes you as odd, you aren't alone. After all, with a car that's such an American icon, we'd fully expect Chevrolet to unveil it here on our shores in either Chicago or New York. But according to Autoweek, GM is looking to boost export sales of its halo car, and since the C7 was engineered to compete with the world's best and brightest, showing it off in Geneva is somewhat of a smart move. What's more, those with sharp memories will recall that GM used the Geneva expo to debut the sixth-generation C6 Corvette convertible back in March 2004, so there's also a precedent.
Details surrounding the Corvette Stingray convertible are still slim, though we fully expect the 6.2-liter V8 and choice of either six-speed automatic or seven-speed manual transmissions to carry over unchanged. Prototypes spotted on the road showed the car fitted with a cloth convertible roof, as well.

Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.
Kurt Busch to shake and bake (again) in Ricky Bobby car at Talladega
Sat, 19 Oct 2013Kurt Busch will channel Ricky Bobby for another NASCAR race, this time driving a Wonder-sponsored Chevrolet SS, in this weekend's Camping World RV Sales 500 at the Talladega Motor Speedway. Unlike past tie-ins, though, there's actually an element of sponsorship here (the "Me" car was done when Busch was running on a team without sponsorship).
It was arranged by Flower Foods, the new owner of the Wonder brand. Wonder was part of the bankrupt Hostess company, which temporarily exited the US market 2012, and set off the Great Twinkie Shortage.
Busch has made something of a habit of channeling characters from famous racing movies, most recently running Tom Cruise's City Chevrolet livery from Days of Thunder in a Nationwide Series race earlier this year. Busch kicked off his movie-inspired antics, though, at Talladega in 2012, when he raced El Diablo's ("It's like... Spanish for like a fighting chicken") "Me" car complete with a cougar on the hood. He even went so far as to channel the lovable idiot that is Ricky Bobby during the race, dropping a few catchphrases about macchiatos and slingshots.
