You can buy this car and drive it anywhere in the united states. It is fast, fun, and powerful. The top works perfectly. It looks impressive with the upgraded 2005 grille and headlights. It has a new aftermarket 7 inch touchscreen gps/radio/dvd player with manuals and remote, which was professionally installed. the ac blows cold. I was hit driving last summer in a minor accident and everything was professionally repaired and repainted. The back tires are new, the front tires need replaced soon but still have tread, they are just mismatched. the engine light is on because it has a sticky EGR valve. It most likely isnt bad and just needs cleaned up. if its bad they cost about $140. It doesnt affect the performance of the car. the leather interior isnt beautiful. It looks like an 11 year old car thats been out in the Florida sun a lot. I currently have it garaged here in ohio for the winter and it has never been driven in the snow that i know of. Ive had 4 of these and im selling it so i can buy a newer one in the spring. If you are coming from out of town i will pick you up at the airport and accommodate you however i can, just be prepared to BUY and not waste my time. If you have a shipper i will work with them however i can provided that YOU pay them in advance and the car is fully paid for with cash in my pocket before it leaves. Firing of M-B boss upheld
Mon, 15 Jul 2013Ernst Lieb, the disgraced former CEO of American operations for Mercedes-Benz, will not be getting any more money from the Silver Arrow'd teat. His wrongful dismissal suit against MB's parent company, Daimler, was tossed out of a German appeals panel. This, followed the initial rejection by a lower court last year.
According to court documents acquired by Automotive News, Lieb was found to have "accepted payments of substantial value to which he - as he was aware - had no claim."
Lieb took over American operations from former CEO Paul Halata in September of 2006. Reports surfaced in October of 2011 that Lieb was dismissed from his posting at MB, with a variety of rumors swirling. Eventually, news broke that financial wrong doing was responsible for the German's firing.
Next Mercedes-Benz C-Class spotted in the snow
Mon, 11 Mar 2013The entry-level Mercedes-Benz C-Class has long felt like nothing more than, well, just that. Aside from the potent and delicious C63 AMG models, there hasn't been much to set the C-Class apart in the entry-level luxury/sport segment, leading to the model being regarded by many as "The Cheap Mercedes." No, it's certainly not a bad car, but for our money, it hasn't stood up particularly well to competitors like the BMW 3 Series or Audi A4.
So with the handsome new CLA-Class coming to round off the entry-level end for Mercedes-Benz, big plans are in store for the C-Class. We can see some evidence of that in this latest set of spy shots from our friends at CarPix. According to earlier reports, the new C-Class will be "far more dramatic" in the visuals department, and while the sedan's sculpting is still covered by camo, the much sleeker headlamp design we see here is, at the very least, a good start. The car's overall size is expected to grow a bit to further distance itself from the CLA, though thanks to lightweight materials, curb weight isn't expected to increase.
Just like the current model, the new C-Class is expected to use four- and six-cylinder engines, both gas- and diesel-fed, and overall power output for the global engine range should span from 120-ish on the low end to as much as 330. These new engines are expected to be mounted lower and farther rearward than before, offering better balance for both rear- and 4Matic all-wheel drive configurations. And as for that AMG? Rumors suggest a turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 will fall underhood.
Forza Horizon announces January Recaro Car Pack with LFA N"urburgring Edition
