Beautiful near mint absolutely rust free W114 280C. Interior is near mint, new MBZ Tex. Every single instrument works including original clock. Ice cold AC, new carpets throughout including trunk, rebuilt Solex carbuerator. Almost perfect paint except for one small craze and a few ships on drivers door edge. Chrome is acceptable and bumpers are a good 8 of 10. Many parts have been replaced including locks, dual switch turn signal, AC expansion valve, recharged AC system, replaced antenna, new undercoating, Speedometer cluster replaced, replaced all fuel hoses and fuel pump. Car starts and runs immediately. Car has been driven intermittently since I purchased it This is an original 40 year old car that is in first rate mechanical and cosmetic condition. Though the car has not been restored, it has had new paint, newer interior, and many many parts replaced. This 280C is easily one of the best examples of a 280C anywhere let alone on Ebay. If the reserve is met, I will pay 50% of shipping and if the buyer wishes arrange shipping. Car is stored in an enclosed heated garage.

Twin-turbo Cadillac CTS coming
Watch this perfectly nice Mercedes get crushed by a front-end loader
Mon, 25 Mar 2013In a world where the YouTube hoax continues to thrive, it's hard to know what to think of this little vid, but here are the facts as we know them: a coupe that looks like a first-generation Mercedes-Benz CLK gets crushed by a giant front-end loader. There you have it.
Our questions arise in the aftermath - we know industrial resource machinery is heavy, but the Benz gets squashed so flat we wonder if someone's trying to play a joke on us. We hear that the white coupe may have been the heavy-equipment operator's foreman's car, but who knows? The on-camera interview seems awfully conveniently placed, yes? See for yourself in the video below and then leave us your thoughts in Comments.
2015 Mercedes C-Class order guide leaked
Wed, 23 Apr 2014We may not have an official starting price for the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, but as of right now, we can tell you about all the options for the eagerly anticipated new luxury sedan.
Benz Report has the entire order guide for the C-Class, with breakdowns from package pricing to how many different colors, wheel designs and lighting configurations will be available when the new model hits dealers later this year. As we mentioned in our initial review of the C-Class, there will be a pair of engine options, with the now familiar 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder available in both rear- and all-wheel-drive configurations and a 3.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V6, which can be had in all-wheel drive, only.
From there, though, the available options are impressive. Much like it does on the current car, Mercedes is offering a pair of packages that sort of define the entire car. With the C300, buyers will have the choice of either a Sport or Luxury package in addition to the base trim, while C400 buyers are limited to the Sport model.
