For an original MSRP of over $75,000, this is, as expected, an exceptional vehicle. 400+ HP (with the K&N Air filter & synthetic fluids) and 400+ Ft-Lbs of Torque from this XJR is just unbelievable to experience until you have. I bought it with a new job lined up that fell through at the last minute and am now trying to recoup my investment. I paid cash for it and have the title in hand. It comes with the original Owners and Touchscreen manuals and a CD with ALL the manuals from the basic guide to the advanced technicians manuals (that I bought in PDF  format) for the DIYer & Three(3) key FOBs (a new replacement will cost about $400 before programming and the cutting of the blank). The leather has been conditioned and treated regularly to ensure a long life and supple feel.  Less than 1000 miles since an oil and filter change of Castrol 5W-30 (Jaguar recommended) full synthetic oil at 92,000 miles. All eight of the spark plugs were replaced with brand new NGK Iridium model #5464 (BKR5EIX-11) that are top of the line along with New Rain-X wiper blades. The photos speak for themselves at the outstanding condition of this amazing vehicle. I have always felt that Jaguars were some of the more beautiful and elegant vehicles ever made and when I had this opportunity to finally get one this good, I was crushed to learn that I must part with her. If the  tides turn for me, I pray that I will be able to obtain another beauty like her, but in the now I must do what is best for my family. There are many extra items that I purchased to enhance the overall look of her that are included and can be seen in the last pic with a basic description of each. Virginia requires an annual state safety inspection and she passed in August of 2014 so she is good until August of 2015. The pics The photos I have are from the dealer as I just got it, but I will take some ASAP and remove the old ones along with this disclaimer. A few parts came in and I have added pics of them. There are SO MANY options on this car I cannot list all of them and keep your attention. Please feel free to inquire about anything and I'll do my best to assist. I have the CarFax on hand as well.

Additional Payment Information:
A Cashier's Check or Money Order from a National Institution that can be cashed immediately is acceptable, but Cash is the preferred method. A personal check may be considered, but a 14 day hold will be required before the vehicle, title, & bill of sale is released and is NOT negotiable. An "E-Check" via PayPal for the deposit WILL NOT suffice either as PayPal themselves report that it cannot be guaranteed. Additionally, the deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE if the balance isn't received within the time period allotted without prior coordination with the seller (me). As PayPal has fees that vary, a 3% surcharge will be added to the PayPal deposit to cover that and is due upon final payment. However, this can be avoided by discussing alternate options with the seller (me) prior to transaction completion.

SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS:
Buyer is responsible for any and all matters regarding the shipping and obtaining possession of the vehicle once the final & total amount has been paid in full to the approval of the seller. The Seller assumes no responsibility for the property once the  process of shipment/possession begins. A written agreement with the buyer and/or shipping agent will be completed as well as video of agreement confirmation and at that point the seller is released of any and all responsibility of any damage or mistreatment of the vehicle. Arrangements for the seller to deliver the vehicle may be a possibility, but terms must be agreed upon by both parties prior to any action by the buyer and seller. Ebay's disclaimer reads "The buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup or shipping (recommended)" and I am in agreement, but am willing to attempt a negotiation.

Unrelated to the sale, but pertinent in my mind; I am a medically retired/disabled Army SGT (16 years) and a Commonwealth of Virginia Notary Public. I am only listing this information to speak for my character.

Junkyard Gem: 1995 Jaguar XJR

Sat, Apr 13 2024

It's not too difficult to find discarded examples of the supercharged-V8-powered Jaguar XJR of the X308 generation, but the earlier X300-based XJR with its blown straight-six is a much more elusive Junkyard Gem. Here's one that just turned up in a Denver self-service knacker's yard. For many years, the Denver Pick Your Part was a funky, muddy operation on an industrial stretch of Federal Boulevard. I bought a lot of parts for various projects and documented dozens of discarded vehicles for this series there. On April first, LKQ moved that operation to a brand-new location a half-mile away and I showed up early to experience the grand opening. I'll miss the old Denver Pick Your Part, even with the treacherous footing, but sometimes even junkyards get junked. The new location is set in a vast asphalt parking lot, which should make it easier for shoppers to get around and extract parts. One of the employees drives this seriously cool Scion xB project, so that's a good sign. As I walked the rows, this two-tone Jag caught my attention immediately. What's going on here? The VIN says it's a genuine XJR, complete with supercharged 4.0-liter straight-six rated at 322 horsepower and 378 pound-feet. That beat the 313-horse V12 in the XJ12 that sat next to it in the showrooms. The supercharger is a member of the same Eaton family that was used in the Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe. This makes sense, because Ford had purchased Jaguar in 1989. The U.S.-market X306 XJR was available only with an automatic transmission; a few hundred with five-speed manuals were sold in Europe. The version we got here was good for 14.9-second quarter-mile times and ran 0-60 in 6.6 seconds— not bad for a car that scaled in at 4,215 pounds. The MSRP was a cool $65,000, or about $134,206 in 2024 dollars. The 1995 XJ12 listed at $77,250, which comes to $159,499 after inflation. This generation of XJR was sold here for just the 1995 through 1997 model years, after which it was replaced by the V8 XJR. Just 6,547 were built. This one received a heavy customization at some point, including big SUPERCHARGED badging. The bonnet is covered with faux carbon fiber, which was all the rage during the early Fast & Furious Era. The upholstery has been redone in well-executed two-tone embroidered leather. I knew there had to be some traces of this car online. Sure enough, Mecum auctioned it in Denver back in the summer of 2015.

Jaguar C-X17 rides high into Frankfurt

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

After enviously watching its competitors rake in piles of crossover-shaped dollars for years, Jaguar is poised to get into the game with a production model based on this C-X17 concept. While the British brand hasn't officially confirmed it will sell a utility vehicle - indeed, brand fans and industry watchers have wondered whether the Leaping Cat even need to get into the game considering its corporate cousins at Land Rover - we would be dumbfounded if it didn't happen in short order.
We've always been concerned that Jaguar's styling language wouldn't translate well to a high-riding shape, but here at its Frankfurt Motor Show debut, the C-X17 comes off as quite handsome (if predictable) in the metal. The same couldn't always be said of Jag's styling DNA, but newer models beginning with the XF and the XJ have introduced design elements like a larger, more vertical grille that suit the C-X17's form factor exceedingly well. Even the rear end successfully borrows its taillamp design from the glorious new F-Type Roadster.
Underneath the concept's two-box shape is a new aluminum unibody that Jag says it is poised to employ on its next-generation models, including the long-expected midsize sedan coming to North America in 2016. Jaguar has long been a leader in aluminum chassis development even as it has struggled to take weight out of some of its vehicles (the F-Type, for instance, isn't exactly lightweight). Thus far, Jaguar isn't talking powertrains other than to say it will employ a new generation of gas and diesel engines.

2017 Jaguar XE

Thu, Apr 30 2015

You've seen this movie before. Topple the BMW 3 Series has gone more rounds than The Fast and The Furious and The Transporter combined. But like any good cinematic retread, this time it's different. For starters, the latest installment is a zombie flick. Born from the ashes of Ford ownership and the failed X-Type, the 2017 Jaguar XE is coming to save us from the somnambulant, undead Bimmer. Think Army of Darkness with luxury sport sedans, and you'll understand what we're going for. Okay, the plot is only based on a true story. The reality in the automotive world isn't as dramatic as most car journalists would like you to believe. But the XE is hugely important for Jaguar's desire to increase global production. You're looking at the future best-selling model. It's built on an all-new body structure that forms the basis for all the brand's upcoming sedans. The smallest, most affordable Jaguar also launches with a new engine family, built in a new factory in England. The XE arrives stateside in early 2016 with two available engines. A 2.0-liter diesel from the new Ingenium lineup is the entry-level model. Above that is the supercharged 3.0-liter V6 familiar to the Jaguar and Land Rover lineup. A turbo 2.0-liter gas engine will come in below the diesel at a later date, with an optional manual transmission. The XE versions on launch will offer rear- or all-wheel-drive. Pricing information is yet to be revealed. Until then, just assume the XE will mimic its competitors for price and content. We spent most of our time driving the 35t with R-Sport trim, but check back for a driving impression of the diesel in a few days. As we reported in our prototype drive of the XE earlier this year, this car has incredible steering feel. It's the supernatural aid in the XE's monomyth if any film buffs are still paying attention. The electrically assisted system ranks in the hall of fame with the rack on the current Porsche 911 Carrera. Lightly weighted, the loads build up in the steering wheel like it's wired to strain gauges on the sidewall of the front tires. It's not just good programming that makes the XE steer so well, although that's a big part. The rest comes from the chassis. Jaguar engineers claim the double wishbone front suspension uses lessons learned from the F-Type. The rear part of the car's quick responses comes from a multi-link setup Jag calls integrated link. A body 20-percent stiffer than the current XF also contributes to sharp reflexes.
