CarFax Certified with clear title this vehicle is ready to go.  Fresh oil change and tires with plenty of tread remaining.  Exterior, to my eye, is ding-free, with no paint chips larger than a pin head or two.  Carpet and interior is clean, and shows minimal wear.  No funny odors, rips or significant stains.

Dash is clean, with no warning lights on.  Engine, transmission, etc seem to be in fine working order, running strong and shifting smoothly.

Noted Issues:  The GMC emblem on the front did lose a bit of red plastic, there are some vertical hairline scratches on the windows (from normal operation(?), it appears) and the passenger-side power window 'down' function is intermittently operative from the driver's controls.  Up switch from driver controls works fine, and operation from passenger control has no issues.  Front driver side headlamp is somewhat fogged and the small running light is burned out.  All hgh and low beam lights and turn signals are working fine.

All in all, this is a lot of car for the starting bid price.

I am not a dealer, however, I have a lot of experience with cars and have noted the items that I found after doing a visual inspection in addition to highway and city driving.  Tried to also highlight any issues in the pictures.  Since this is a private sale, car is sold in "AS-IS" condition, with no warranty, either express or implied.  I can send you a PDF of the full CarFax upon request.  Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!!!

2014 GMC Sierra [w/video]

Big And Boxy Might Be Best
As immense fans of the Back to the Future trilogy, we sometimes like to envision an alternate timeline in which General Motors had killed off GMC and kept Pontiac instead. The G8 GXP would still be on the road handily beating German sport sedans costing twice as much, while the lowly G3 would morph into a true subcompact-killer based on what is now the Chevrolet Sonic RS. While we're at it, let's go ahead and imagine the G6 has become the best-selling car in the US and the Torrent crossover is selling 20,000+ units per month. Far-fetched, we know.
The thing is, these fanciful statements would have to be true to make the case against keeping GMC. Pontiac may have offered more excitement than GMC, but money talks, and a full line of trucks, crossovers and SUVs have made a lot more money for GM than the arrowhead brand ever did. How much? As we learned last month, about two-thirds of GM's global profits came from its fullsize trucks, and GMC's trucks typically have thicker margins than their Chevrolet counterparts.

GM recalls Chevy Express, GMC Savana over rollaway concern

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall notice for a small number of General Motors fullsize vans due to possible rollaway concerns. On certain 2013 Chevrolet Express and 2013 GMC Savana models, it is possible to remove the key from the ignition without the shifter being in park.
Only 980 total units are being affected by this recall, and GM is fixing the issue by replacing the ignition cylinder and associated keys. Affected Chevy vans were built during most of November and December while its GMC counterpart was only built for a week in November. The recall goes into effect on January 23, and to find out if your vehicle applies to the recall, the GM and NHTSA contact numbers can be found on the official recall notice, which is posted below.

GM tinkering with Silverado, Sierra model mix amidst strong early sales

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

Variety, as they say, is the spice of life. That's a lesson that is currently being taught to General Motors, because despite a strong showing from its 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, the General's pickup sales still can't best those of cross-town rival Ford.
With 59,163 trucks moved, GM fell just over 1,000 units short of toppling Ford, and one of the main reasons for that, according to GM's chief sales analyst, was due to a lack of variety in the engines and body styles available on dealer lots. "We are still over-weighted toward crew-cab V8 trucks. Our light-duty mix will moderate over time as our launch progresses," said Kurt McNeil.
Loading dealers with the popular combination of the 5.3-liter V8 and the four-door, Crew Cab body style was intentional during the truck's launch, but as supplies of leftover 2013 models, which are being sold at heavy incentives, are beginning to wane, both budget-conscious and high-dollar buyers are looking elsewhere instead of at the volume model pickups.
