I bought this 2003 Chevrolet Venture passenger van at an auction thinking I was getting a great buy and could sell it at a substantial profit then found out that it has low compression on no. 5 cylinder, so I'm putting it on ebay, expecting to lose money and mark it up as experience. Van is registered and insured; doesn't drive too badly - you can feel the miss at lower speeds. I've run it a distance on the highway with no overheating or other problems. Automatic transmission seems to shift nicely. No signs of oil usage. Spark plugs looked good - I put new iridium plugs back in instead of old ones (still have old ones if you want to see them). Heat and air conditioning work. Gas gauge does not. Odometer reading doesn't always light up, sometimes yes, sometimes no. Service engine light is on because of engine miss (I had a mechanic scan it and do the compression test). ABS light is on - mechanic said the sensor at the left front wheel needs to be replaced.

Van looks good inside and out. Not perfect - examine pictures and you'll see that, but in my opinion, pretty nice for an '03. Note dent on right rear corner (see pic). Also see pic of windshield - cracked in lower half. Tires have fair tread. I haven't measured the depth, but I'm pretty sure it's deep enough to pass state inspection. You have to add a little air to the right front once every week or so. Has no spare tire. Has current VA sticker which expires end of August.

I think the previous owners may have had a dog, and he left some odor in the car. Not urine or anything, just dog. I've had the van closed up most of the time, so it hasn't gotten much air.

Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard

Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.

Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette

How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.
