2000 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 4x4 LT package. Power Sunroof. Power/Heated Leather seats.

The Good:

6.0L V8 that runs strong and has no issues

4L80E Trans is in great shape, and shifts as it should. 4 Wheel drive works properly.

Overall the Suburban is very solid and clean. It runs and drives as it should. Mechanically sound.

The Bad:

It has rust. Where the steps on the sides are/were the rockers are rusted out. Other than that there is no major rust.

Mechanically, it will need new rear brake lines and a drivers side power window motor. Also the struts for the rear door are shot and will not hold it up on it's own. Has a light oil leak out of the passenger side valve cover.

You can test drive it to check any mechanics but the brakes are weak because of the rear brake line leak. I would be prepared to tow it home. There are pictures showing all damage and I have listed all known issues.

Amelia Island 2013: Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray from concepts to split windows

While this year marks 60 years of the Chevrolet Corvette, the 2013 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance focused on one of the coupe's most sought after models, the 1963 Sting Ray. General Motors design boss Ed Welburn was on hand to show off the all-new C7 Corvette, but even the hard-edged styling of the 2014 Stingray couldn't take away from the beautiful 1963 models sitting out on the field.
In addition to the original Sting Ray and the 1959 Sting Ray Concept, some of the other classic 'Vettes included "Big Tank" racecars, an interesting cutaway coupe, a right-hand-drive Z06 and the attention-grabbing 1963 Corvette Rondine by Pininfarina. Another impressive Corvette was the 1964 Corvette XP-819 rear-engine prototype. Owner Mike Yager had the car finished as a driving chassis for this year's show, but promises the car will be back to its original glory in time for next year's event.

2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut

Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.
