1999 SUBURBAN - 4WD, VORTEC 5700 V8 SFI ENGINE 4 SPD AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
I am the second owner of this LOADED 1999 SUNSET GOLD METALLIC, NEUTRAL CUSTOM LEATHER SUBURBAN vehicle. I bought it from a friend of mine and I have owned it for the past 9 years and it has been a great vehicle for my family. I recently bought a new one and no longer need this Suburban. It has about 146K miles and still runs great. There is some normal wear and tear for a vehicle that is 15 years old. There is some rust as shown in the pictures. The tires are not new but they did pass inspection and should be good for many more miles. A full size spare is included. There is a slight separation of the leather on the drivers front seat (as shown on the pictures) it is right on the seam and can be easily fixed. The A/C only works in the front and does not work in the rear seats. As far as that, the vehicle’s engine runs great and still has a lot of life left in it for a family looking for a large reliable SUV to take the whole family along with plenty of room for luggage and supplies. I still have the original sticker from the vehicle that shows all the Standard and Optional Equipment installed on this SUV. Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues
Wed, 28 Dec 2011'Tis the season... for road salt. And with that, comes rust. And what does rust bring? Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.

Tue, 19 Mar 2013This year's 12 Hours of Sebring wasn't exactly a foregone conclusion because we're still talking about racing, and anything can happen when the speeds are as high as the adrenaline and the desire. But we're still talking about Audi bringing it's two top-spec racers - and its huge budget and its nearly neurotic attention to detail - to a race that it uses as a test bed for The 24 Hours of Le Mans and as a way to open the endurance racing season with a victory.
Besides, 12 hours is a long time, especially at Sebring, and things didn't go all Audi's way. On top of that, although it was a pretty quiet race, behind the Audis things got even grimier, with plenty of battles, plenty of mechanical issues, and the new BMW Z4 GTE and Viper GTS-R being race tested. Oh, and that brand new chromed-out DeltaWing...
Was the C7 Corvette cut from Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show?
Tue, 05 Feb 2013Someone was bound to receive a free 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray during the Super Bowl XLVII festivities; it just wasn't who we thought it was going to be. Despite a report back in December that superstar Beyoncé Knowles would be getting an all-new Corvette during her halftime performance, that turned out not to be the case. Joe Flacco, starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, did in fact win a Corvette for his MVP performance.
So what transpired that prevented Beyoncé from rolling on stage in the new Chevrolet? Anyone who knows isn't telling, but according to Yahoo! Autos, General Motors said that for one reason or another a deal "did not work out," and it appears to have been an eleventh-hour change. Regardless of who's to blame or what prevented this from happening, we're sure Chevy has had no problems getting attention for the C7 Corvette since it was introduced last month.
