2005 Chevrolet 2500hd+ Crew Cab+ 4x4+leather+michelins With 159k on 2040-cars
Paducah, Kentucky, United States
UP FOR SALE IS A 2005 CHEVROLET 2500HD 6.6 DURAMAX ENGINE, 4X4, CREW CAB, LS PACKAGE WITH LEATHER. TRUCK INSIDE IS NICE OTHER THAN THE RIP ON EDGE OF DRIVERS SEAT. THE PLASTIC ON THE EDGE IS CRACKED TOO AS U CAN SEE IN PICTURE. THE TRUCK IS A 2 OWNER TRUCK THAT WAS BOUGHT A 1YEAR AND HALF AGO AT ROYAL OAKS CHEVROLET IN PADUCAH KY. IT HAD 140K WHEN IT WAS PURCHASED. TRUCK HAS NEVER BEEN WRECKED AND HAS CLEAN CAR FAX. THERE IS A B+W FLIPOVER BALL IN BED. WE HAULED SOME CATTLE OFF TO AUCTION IS ALL WE EVER DONE AS FOR AS USING THE HITCH. THE MUFFLER OUT THE BED WAS LIKE THAT WHEN WE BOUGHT IT. ACTUALLY A OLDER GENTLEMAN DID THAT TO THE TRUCK, I JUST LEFT IT ALONE. SOUNDS GOOD. TRUCK HAS NEVER BEEN PROGRAMMED OR ANYTHING ELSE. WE HAVE HAD GOOD LUCK OUT OF THE TRUCK UNTIL LAST WEEK, DRIVING HOME FROM A TRIP THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND IT DIDNT HAVE ANY POWER? I NEVER TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC BECAUSE IT IS A SPARE TRUCK FOR ME, I JUST BOUGHT A NEW DUALLY IN DEC. I TOOK IT TOO AUTO PARTS STORE AND THEY PUT SCANNER ON IT AND IT SHOWED A FEW CODES OF TOO MUCH FUEL CODE I BELIEVE. THEY TURNED OFF THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND SINCE THEN IT WILL COME ON EVERY FEW 3 OR 4 DAYS OF DRIVING. IT GOES INTO "LIMP MODE". IT HAS NO LEAKS ANYWHERE, NO OIL LEAKS AND DOES NOT SMOKE? OIL IS PERFECTLY CLEAR AND HAS NO WATER OR ANTIFREEZE IN IT. IT DRIVES GREAT, TRANS IS GOOD, LOOKS GOOD, BUT I JUST NEED TO SELL TRUCK BECAUSE I DONT NEED IT ANYMORE BECAUSE OF NEW ONE. THE TRUCK MIGHT NOT HAVE MUCH OF A PROBLEM WITH CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMING ON, BUT THEN AGAIN WHO KNOWS? MAYBE SOMEONE OUT IN EBAY LAND IS A SELF MADE MECHANIC WHO CAN WORK ON THIS TRUCK AND SAVE THEMSELVES ALOT OF MONEY BECAUSE I WILL SET A REALLY LOW RESERVE ON TRUCK, JUST BECAUSE I DONT WANT TO MESS WITH IT, I DONT HAVE THE TIME, AND RATHER GIVE SOMEONE ELSE A GOOD TRUCK WORTH THE MONEY. COME OUT AND DRIVE IT, AND SEE FOR YOURSELFS. I HAVE THE TITLE IN MY HAND AND THERE IS NO LEIN OR BRANDED TITLE. CLEAN AND CLEAR TITLE. THE TRUCK DOES RUN GOOD, AND IS DRIVEABLE. IF YOUR PLANNING TO DRIVE IT 10 OR 12 HOURS ACROSS THE U.S. I PROBABLY WOULDNT BECAUSE OF CHECK ENGINE LIGHT MIGHT COME ON AND IT GO INTO LIMP MODE. BUT AS OF TODAY, I JUST DROVE IT TO GET SOME PARTS ABOUT 20 MILES 1 WAY AND IT DID FINE. ANY QUESTIONS CALL ME AT 270-556-2641. BUYING A USED TRUCK AS IS NO WARRANTY OR LIABILITIES. DEPOSIT WIRED ONLY OF $1000 IF WON ON EBAY. FULL BALANCE TO BE PAID IN 3 DAYS AFTER AUCTION IS ENDED. NO PAYPAL. I FORGOT TO TELL THAT TAILGATE HANDLE IS BROKE, AND IT HAS RHINO LINED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE WHOLE TRUCK AND FENDER FLARES.

Artist imagines eerie world where cars have no wheels
Thu, 24 Jan 2013The wheel ranks right up there with the telescope and four-slice toaster in the pantheon of inventions that have moved humankind forward. But what if a circle in three dimensions had never occurred to anyone, and we all had just moved on without it? Perhaps we'd be driving around in Lucas Motors Landspeeders with anti-gravity engines. Or maybe we'd have the same cars we do today, just without wheels.
That's the thought experiment that seems to have led French photographer Renaud Marion to create his six-image series called Air Drive. The shots depict cars throughout many eras of motoring that look normal except for one thing: they have no wheels. The models used include a Jaguar XK120, Cadillac DeVille (shown above), Chevrolet El Camino and Camaro, and Mercedes-Benz SL and 300 roadsters.
Perhaps one day when our future becomes our past, you'll be able to walk the street and see with your own eyes the rust and patina of age on our nation's fleet of floating cars. Until then, Monsieur Marion's photographs will have to do.
Amelia Island 2013: Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray from concepts to split windows
Wed, 13 Mar 2013While this year marks 60 years of the Chevrolet Corvette, the 2013 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance focused on one of the coupe's most sought after models, the 1963 Sting Ray. General Motors design boss Ed Welburn was on hand to show off the all-new C7 Corvette, but even the hard-edged styling of the 2014 Stingray couldn't take away from the beautiful 1963 models sitting out on the field.
In addition to the original Sting Ray and the 1959 Sting Ray Concept, some of the other classic 'Vettes included "Big Tank" racecars, an interesting cutaway coupe, a right-hand-drive Z06 and the attention-grabbing 1963 Corvette Rondine by Pininfarina. Another impressive Corvette was the 1964 Corvette XP-819 rear-engine prototype. Owner Mike Yager had the car finished as a driving chassis for this year's show, but promises the car will be back to its original glory in time for next year's event.
