You are bidding on a low mileage Chevrolet S10 ZR2 4x4.    This truck is in very good condition.  It is the extended cab with the third door on the drivers side.   The 4.3 engine is probably chevrolet a most durable and this truck drives 100%.   Transmission shifts very smooth and 4x4 works great.   Everything works.  A/c is ice cold, keyless remote entry, sliding rear window, bedliner, locking tonneau cover.  Interior is as it should be for low mileage.  Exterior is very nice with your typical few dings and small dent passengers side. There is a small amount of rust on the bottom edge of the third door and the bottom edge of the tailgate, all other panels are rust free. There is some checking in the clear coat on the hood and roof but you have to look close. My original plan was to get the truck ready for my niece for her 16th birthday but it is a little too large for her so I have to sell it. I just replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel regulator,  battery, brakes, throttle position switch, spark plugs, spark plug wires, did a tune up, brand new tires including the spare and replaced the carpet. The truck shows really well. There are a couple small burn holes on the drivers seat and one on the drivers door panel.

There is no warranty. Deposit of US $500.00 within 24 hours of auction close.

Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs

Sun, 01 Dec 2013

The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.

C7 Corvette turbo with 1,000 horsepower promised from Hennessey

Mon, 25 Feb 2013

If you can't wait for the next-generation Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Hennessey says they will have you covered. The Texas-based company has announced it will offer a spate of upgrades for the 2014 Corvette ranging from a range of bolt-on options all the way up to a 1,000-horsepower, twin-turbo system. Buyers can start with a cold air intake, cat-back exhaust or stainless steel long-tube headers, but Hennessey says it will also offer up three stages of forced induction mayhem should those bits and baubles not provide enough thrust.
Those choices start with a supercharger system good for up to 700 hp, though Hennessey will gladly ditch the blower in favor of two turbos. Doing so will spin the crank to the tune of 800 horsepower all the way up to a certifiably ludicrous 1,000 ponies. There's no word on how much these tricks will cost you - or when they will be available, as we're guessing they haven't gotten their hands on the car yet - but you can head over to the Hennessey site to drop them a line if you're curious.

GM recalling over 243,000 crossovers over possible seat belt defect

2010 Buick Enclave - Click above for high-res image gallery
The summer of 2010's recall hit parade continues unabated today, with General Motors having just announced that it is asking 243,403 owners of its 2009-2010 Lambda crossovers to bring their three-row haulers in for inspection. The culprit? Second-row seat belts in select Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Saturn Outlook CUVs have "failed to perform properly in a crash."
According to GM, a second-row seat-side trim piece is to blame, as it can impede the upward rotation of the buckle after the seat is folded flat. As a result, if the buckle makes contact with the seat frame, cosmetic damage can occur, potentially requiring additional force to operate the buckle properly. So far, no great shakes, but in the process of applying that additional force, the occupant may push the buckle cover down to the strap, potentially revealing and depressing the red release button. As a result of this, the belt may not latch, or in certain cases, it may actually appear to be latched when, in fact, it isn't.
