1958 Chevrolet Truck 3100 V8 Auto.,full, Power W/ Disc Brakes on 2040-cars
Stillwater, Oklahoma, United States
Up for your bidding pleasure is a 1958 Chevy S.N.B. 1/2 ton pickup. It sits on a late 1970's Chevy short bed pickup frame. The conversion was done very well! Runs, rides, drives, steers, and stops much better than a 1950's drive train would. So you have power steering, power brakes, turbo, automatic V8, disc brakes with better updated suspension. I've driven this 58 about 50 miles, it's begging me to paint it. The body is so nice, straight, and solid...easy to paint. Floors, cab, fenders, rockers are all very solid. You could "ratty roddy", restore or do a custom truck. This one really drives great. Original paint code is 712, Kodiak Brown ( as seen in photo) . Has a new painless wiring harness, rear brake lights, blinkers and running lights work. Headlights-low and hi beams both work, both doors lock. Brand new tires. Please call with any questions 4 zero 5 six 1 two 5666. One time offered, if it does not sell 1st time out, I'll paint it and then sell it as restored.

Race Recap: 2013 Indianapolis 500 better than Bollywood; all the emotion, none of the music [spoilers]
Mon, 27 May 2013If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible is a Swiss hit
Mon, 04 Mar 2013We've just received an early peek at the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible here at the Geneva Motor Show. General Motors was kind enough to let us attend the final dress-rehearsal for its press conference scheduled for tomorrow's opening media day, and we've come away with a good look at the droptop C7 in person.
In the metal, the new Corvette Convertible seems somehow less avant-garde than the Coupe, even in Z51 Performance Package guise. That's not necessarily a bad thing - more of an observation. That initial impression may be because the C7's new greenhouse is one of its most prominent departures from Corvettes past. While we didn't get to see the top erected, there's no rear side window in the stock images that Chevy has already released, suggesting the C7 convertible's profile will look a lot like its C6 predecessor. And with the new power tonneau cover in place, there are also no rear ducts that come as part of the Z51 package (they've been moved under the car).
As with its predecessor, the tonneau is a handsome double-bubble piece, and the body-color "waterfall" element into the cabin between the seats has made it to the new model as well. Thus, the overall look with the top down should be a bit more familiar to prior-gen C6 owners - if you're one of those put off by the C7's new shape, you'll probably appreciate the convertible bodystyle more than the coupe.
