2006 Chevrolet Impala LT - Tan/Beige - Black Tinted Windows - 3.5ltr V6 Flexfuel engine - Brand new Battery (12/2013) - Brand new Alternator (12/2013) - Brand new headlamp assemblies and bulbs (11/2013) - Steering Column Replaced (04/2013) - New Muffler (02/2013) - New tires (12/2012) - New Brakes (12/2012) - All documentation/paperwork since purchase (3/2012) - 127,xxx miles Features include: Remote Keyless Entry Remote Start Power Windows and Locks Power Sliding Moonroof with sliding cover MP3/CD Radio with Steering wheel audio controls Air Conditioning (works great!) Cruise Control with Steering wheel controls Dual Airbags Power Driver's seat with lumbar Steel Wheels Tinted windows This vehicle has normal wear and tear from daily usage and the mileage will increase until final sale as this is my daily driver. It has been maintained by owner with records since purchase of repairs and preventative maintenance performed. Minor surface rust present on inside bottom door panel on driver's side front door. Light scratches in exterior paint, minor door dings (2), keyless entry remote distance is poor and we suspect it needs a new battery. 1 key with 2 remotes allowing you to leave the car running and lock it from the outside with the other remote. HUGE trunk space! Brand new headlamps and bulbs (replaced due to old ones fogging). Tinted windows on sides and back. Air conditioning, heat and dual climate control all function well. Brand new battery and alternator. Tires are at least half tread. Car comes with lifetime alignment certificate from Firestone Tire Co. Last month, I personally drove this vehicle from Athens, Ohio to Boston, Massachusetts without any issues. Drove wonderful and averaged 28-30mpg on the highway! This car is a great driver and very responsive! Instrument panel will show you the actual MPG as you are driving, overall MPG, average speed and when to change the oil! In addition, you can control multiple settings from the sound level of the chime to the remote lock settings. This car comes with all paperwork since purchase including the original owners manual. Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette
Mon, 07 Oct 2013How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.
GM takes heat for aborted Silverado riff on 'Boston Strong' at World Series
Thu, 31 Oct 2013During game five of the World Series, Chevrolet was set to do a spot of marketing for the 2014 Silverado - fans at Busch Stadium in St. Louis would hold up placards that spelled out the words "Silverado Strong," a theme that Chevy has been promoting since the Silverado's launch with the song "Strong," by Will Hoge. The St. Louis promo was ultimately called off, though, over concerns that it'd be insensitive to the visiting Boston Red Sox. (You can see the image of what the stunt would have looked like above, courtesy of one timely Reddit user.)
Now, the Busch Stadium stunt might not have been a big deal, had the St. Louis Cardinals not been playing the Boston Red Sox. Following the tragic events in Boston during the marathon back in April, the phrase "Boston Strong" gained traction among the city's citizens, especially at sporting events. So, you can imagine that Chevy's appropriation of the phrase might not sit well with some fans.
The stunt was ultimately shelved after images of the signs went viral before the game, leading to a bit of a public backlash. Chevy spokesperson Michael Albano said of the promo that it was meant to show the brand's "commitment to baseball and its fans." But after the images went viral, the company "realized there was the possibility that we may offend some of the very fans we were trying to honor," Albano told Automotive News via email.

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
