This is a listing for my C5 Corvette, LS1. The car is in excellent mechanical condition and runs smooth and easy. Pictures were taken recently. Includes custom subwoofer and amp, in dash CD player included. All power options work, tires are new. Brakes are in good shape also. No rattles or noises outside of normal wear. No rust. No history of accidents that I am aware of. You are welcome to check the car facts at your own cost. At highway speeds on long trips I usually get over 30 MPG (with cruise). Winning bid must provide a $1000.00 non-refundable deposit through pay-pal within 24hrs of the auction close. The remainder to be paid and car picked up within 7 days of auction close, unless other arrangements are made with seller. When it comes to technology used in racecars, we generally expect it to trickle down to production cars, not the other way around. Well, Pratt & Miller has developed a new rear-facing radar that operates in a similar fashion to what we're used to in modern blind spot detection systems, only it is also capable of tracking cars as they approach and relaying vital information to the driver via a large display screen.
The innovative radar system debuted at last weekend's 12 Hours of Sebring for Corvette Racing, and this system makes perfect sense for endurance races like this since the cars sometimes have to drive through the night and in poor weather conditions.
The radar can detect cars even with poor visibility, and uses easy-to-distinguish symbols for the driver to identify.

Living in an apartment complex has its benefits, but for shade-tree mechanics who like/need to work on their own cars, it definitely has a number of disadvantages. Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.
