IT IS PRETTY SOLID WITH JUST SURFACE RUST ON TOP FOR BEING OUT IN THE ELEMENTS FOR 3 YEARS. THE BODY ON THE CAR IS VERY STRAIGHT AND THE DOORS SHUT REAL SMOOTH. THE PICTURES WILL SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES ON THE CAR. IT WAS LAST REGISTERED IN 2009. MY SISTER DOESNT WANT IT. IT HAS A NEW TANK IN THE TRUNK. NOTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE. IT WILL RUN. I HAVEN'T RAN IT IN ABOUT 2YEARS THOUGH SO EXPECT FOR IT TO BE TOWED. THE KEYS ARE LOST SO I DONT KNOW HOW TO GET IT TO RUN OR GET IT STARTED TO MOVE IT. THE CAR IS AN AUTOMATIC. THE TIRES WILL HOLD AIR FOR ABOUT A MONTH BUT YOU WILL NEED NEW TIRES FOR SURE. THE CAR BELONGED TO MY SISTER WHO DOES NOT WANT THE CAR ANYMORE BECAUSE OF THE HOT WEATHER WE HAVE HERE IN LAS VEGAS. SHE WANTS SOMETHING WITH AIR CONDITIONING NOW. I TOLD HER TO ROLL DOWN THE WINDOWS AND DRIVE FASTER, BUT SHE DIDNT FIND IT FUNNY..... SO, IT'S GOTTA GO.

Automakers score 8 out of top 20 most-watched ads on YouTube [w/videos]
Fri, 14 Dec 2012Who would have ever thought there'd be a day where people are able to skip television commercials only to go to websites to watch them later? Such is the joy of a DVR and YouTube. AdWeek tabulated the 20 most-watched ads on YouTube, and found that nine were car-related including eight coming from automakers.
Volkswagen continued its Star Wars theme with two ads in the top 20, including the highest-ranking car commercial The Bark Side spot at number three with almost 18 million views, which doesn't even have a single car in it. Some of our favorites are from Chrysler with Clint Eastwood in It's Halftime in America and House Arrest with Charlie Sheen for the Fiat 500 Abarth. Chevrolet, Honda, Audi and Toyota were the other automakers in the top 20, but we'd be remiss if we didn't at least mention one of the coolest ads on the list, the Hot Wheels corkscrew jump.
Of all the car videos, only the Fiat ad wasn't played during a Super Bowl. Check out all eight videos - in order - after the jump. Nike took the top spot with its My Time is Now ad that has been seen online more than 20 million times with Pepsi's Uncle Drew posted up in the runner-up; some of the other videos include four Old Spice commercials and an ad in which Snoop Dogg is pedaling Hot Pockets.
Tarantino's stolen Chevy Malibu from Pulp Fiction recovered after 19 years [w/video]
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Quentin Tarantino fans will likely remember Vincent Vega's cherry 1964 Chevrolet Malibu Convertible in Pulp Fiction. In a movie drenched in automotive references, the Malibu is very nearly a character in and of itself, and it serves as the subject of Vega's soliloquy about the kind of man who vandalizes another's automobile. It also happened to be Tarantino's personal car when the film was shot, and was apparently stolen shortly after production wrapped. Now police have located the car some 19 years later.
As it turns out, the thieves cloned the vehicle identification number from another '64 Malibu and had the car registered under the new digits. It was then sold to an unsuspecting buyer. Police happened upon the duplicate VINs while investigating another potential theft. Right now, it's unclear whether Tarantino has taken possession of the Chevrolet, if it has remained in the possession of the fraud victim, or whether it's caught somewhere in the gears of justice. Either way, you can catch Vega's memorable thoughts on the car keying in the Pulp Fiction clip below. But consider yourself warned: the video contains explicit language as Not Safe For Work as it comes.
Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
