1966 Chevrolet Chevelle. This is the barn find, project car. I purchased the car several months ago. It appears and i was told the car had been setting for unknown years. It is apparent that the previous owner had used the car at the strip. All of the interior has been removed and front end parts. I have installed a new gas tank, drained the fluids and installed a new battery. The motor is strong. I changed the carb out. I installed a used Edelbrock 650 and the car starts and runs strong. Has a torker intake, mild street cam and headers. The distributor has been changed out to a HEI. It has a turbo 350 auto trans with a Hurst Ratchet Shifter. It still has the factory 10 bolt rear end. It has rust in the floor pans and the trunk, literally to the point you can see through to the asphalt. The body is as you see it, old and worn out and rust through out the panels. When i purchased the vehicle it came with new floor pans and trunk pan and they will also go with the sale of the car. It has one driver seat and thats it. I have taken lots of photos and can email to anyone. Several reasons i purchased the car. It is a factory V8, bucket seat, center console, factory ac car. The cowl tag is enclosed with the photo package. The photos will show some of the factory ac parts still intact. It came with a power glide transmission. I even got the center console when i purchased. Photos are also enclosed. It starts, runs and stops. It is what you see. Needs all the sheet metal replaced and interior. It was a factory Lemonwood Yellow with black bucket seats. Here are the facts and cowl decoding that i have. The engine is a non matching engine number. Block casting is a 14016379. I have deciphered this to be a 77-79 350, 225 HP motor out of a corvette or others, as it lists. The stamping number on the tab of the block is V0799800. The wheels are 15"Centerline wheels with front tires being Lemans 165-15, the rears are Daytona 225-60-15. The tires are weather cracked on the sides, but hold air and have tread on the them. I am still trying to decipher the rear end code and will list at a later date.
I am selling because i am overloaded with hot rod project cars, yet just couldnt pass this car up especially with the options it had originally. The car is sold as is. I will answer any questions i can. This car needs to be put back to its original state. Thanks for looking. I do have the car listed locally for sale as well and reserve the right to end the auction early.

2014 Chevrolet Silverado tows in new configurator, microsite
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Judging by your continued enthusiastic response to configurator notices, dear reader, you enjoy speccing out new cars as much as we do. Better still, there tends to be even more ways to personalize, configure and bloat theoretical MSRPs on full-size trucks as there are with more ordinary passenger cars. In addition to trim level, engine and transmission choices, truck buyers usually have to specify items like cab configuration, bed length, number of driven axles, tow packages, gear ratios and all sorts of bits and bobs.
That's why we're pleased to see the DIY specification utility for the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado come alive so soon after this week's Detroit Auto Show debut. While the configurator lacks pricing (General Motors hasn't announced numbers yet) and full options, you can still spec out your half-ton rig, and even print it out or email it to your friends. Beyond the configurator, the new model-specific site is pretty cool, too, with various videos and closer looks at the truck's new features.
The new Chevrolet pickup range won't be on dealer lots until sometime this summer, so whether you're a building contractor, an avid sportsman or just a guy or gal that loves full-size trucks, you might want to check out the link below to keep your appetite whetted. If you're more of a Sierra fan, well, it looks like you're going to have to wait a while - GMC hasn't updated its site yet.
Refreshed 2014 Camaro confirmed for New York debut
Thu, 07 Mar 2013We've already seen leaked specs and potential spy shots, but the refreshed 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will make its official debut at the New York Auto Show in a few weeks.
Besides a tweaked exterior and the possibility of a high-output LS7 under the hood, we really don't know much else about the 2014 Camaro, but here's hoping for an improved interior, too.
In addition to the refreshed Camaro, Chevrolet will also be showing off the recently introduced Chevrolet SS, making its debut on the auto show circuit, and we'll also get our first look at the C7 Corvette coupe and convertible side-by-side.
Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard
Tue, 19 Mar 2013Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
If this video looks familiar to you, it's because this is the full ad that we first got a preview of in Chevy's longer, full-line spot, where the brand's "Find New Roads" tagline was introduced. Scroll down to see this dedicated Sonic spot, along with the older ad, and remember, the Sonic is still - still - not a skateboard.
