Nevada Car Dealer # 40339, Vin # 1383757161517....   Doubt that you will find a nicer, more pristine Black Chevy Chevelle Malibu SS than this one.. if you do.. BUY IT !   This REAL SS with Matching Number motor has lazer straight sheet metal and a glossy black shiny paint-job with no signs of any major nicks or swirl marks.. .it's got a freshend up 327 (3K miles ago)  that drives and sounds and handles like a dream. 350 3 speed automatic.  The nice car guy I bought this car from really babied it and was just the 2nd owner and had it for years as his personal pleasure car ...full frame off restoraton a few years ago...  he put big beefy disc brakes on all corners, so it stops on a dime, very smooth power steering.. it's a factory AC car and all the AC equipment is there... the AC is not working currently but should not be any major issues, but I will let the next owner fix that.. what I like is the big smooth chevy power !!!  ODO shows 47K+ miles but True Miles Unknown, but was 100% restored recently so actual miles is NOT an issue.

Nice Guage package and they all work, Volts, Temp, Oil and RPMs... lights up with a nice green glow at night.. the only guage that does not work is the original clock in the Dash..  Also the Gas and Speedo work of course.. the Dash trim and pad are all beautiful and has a working later model Chevy AM FM Radio / Cass. player and utilizes the original speaker in the dash but sounds nice and old skool !  Chevy door panels are all very nice and the seats are also close to new appearing...  nice black carpet and headliner.. even the interior light lights up with the doors are opened.    The Trunk is also immaculate with nice black carpet, chrome fire extinguiser and Chevy cover for spare tire.

Polished American Racing Torque Thruster mags wheels and nice Fuzion ZR1 tires with plenty of tread left for nice burnouts.

I am not a mechanic, but know and love classic cars..  and I have driven this car a lot and find it to be close to perfect as you can get with an old chevy.. again, it's not perfect and there could be things break or are not up to your exacting specifications, but I doubt that you will find many Chevelle's as nice and enjoyable as this one !!!!

Please note, I am a boutique classic car dealer in Nevada, so any Nevada residents who purchase this car to register in Nevada will need to pay a 8.1 % Nevada sales tax and a $99 documentation fee... but I have taken this into consideration in the great-value pricing of this car.

Come to Vegas to party and drive home an incredible vehicle that is quite a lot of class, fun and quality for the money ! Best, Steve in Las Vegas cell 213 500 8619

More Corvette Stingray Factoids: Vanishing panel gaps and 26-mpg LT1

Thu, 28 Feb 2013

During January's Detroit Auto Show, we managed a longer than expected wandering tag-team interview with C7 Corvette chief engineering exec Tadge Juechter (pictured above), and LT1 engine boss Jordan Lee (pictured below). They are, quite honestly, two of the very nicest bigshot lads to ever walk the engineering corridors of an American manufacturer. Both are enthralled by what they're doing for a day job. So are we.
We've followed the pre-sale anticipation for the Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray like an Oreck vacuum yanking every speck of dirt from a well-trampled carpet. Everything is reportable and contains a grain of further knowledge about this dramatically important and cheered-for car, as it continues to be pressured into representing all that is superior about the American dream. The Corvette wears one heavy cloak.
So, most of what was talked about has been expertly reported already right here on Autoblog. But, looking through our notes again, both Jeuchter and Lee added facts to the buzzing mix.

2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut

Sat, 16 Feb 2013

Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.

2014 Chevy Silverado High Country spied wearing trappings of new luxury trim

Wed, 03 Apr 2013

Spy photographers have spotted the new Chevrolet Silverado High Country and GMC Sierra Denali out on public streets for a little testing. From the looks of things, the Silverado will receive a much-differentiated front fascia along with special badges and those honking 20-inch chrome wheels. Expect to find a more posh interior as well. Likewise, the Sierra Denali will wear a tweaked nose with the familiar Denali bling. The one of the GMC trucks spotted here rolls on 21-inch gunmetal wheels instead of the 20-inch chrome pieces of the High Country.
Word has it both trucks will go on sale after the Texas State Fair this summer. While General Motors hasn't said for certain what we can expect to find under the hood, we'd be surprised to see anything outside of the range of engines found in the standard Silverado and Sierra models. That means buyers should be able to get their hands on the efficient, 23-miles per gallon 5.3-liter V8.
