Here is my 85 caprice i have been building for 3 years. I finally finished it. It has power windows, locks, a/c, 1000miles on replacement 305 with all documented paperwork. I put the lambo doors on, painted the whole car including jams. The paint is very very cool especially in the sun, has tons of red flake that turns blue, green, purple, red, white and so on. The suspension was built fully custom. I spent 3 years making this lift! Its no KIT and NO CRAP! This car rides as if stock if not better! I have over $5000 just in suspension work. In the rear i put king shock offroad coil overs($800) these are fully adjustable and can stiffin up or raise up coils if you put a big system in the back or you could lower the back down a little if you like that squatty style, ladder bars, pan hard bar (hand made), brand new extended driveshaft, all new brakelines. I built the front end all custom and done right. All new shocks, tie rods, ect.. This car has been complete since mid june and have only 300 miles on the 28" wheels/tires, all the new fabrication work, and lift modifications. LED neons underneath car with a remote to change color, pattern and on/off. I replaced the rear speakers with some pioneer 6x9's but look factory.  There is also a decent cd player with iPhone/ipod plug, Mp3, usb.  I did not install any system in the car just a cd player and new antenna.

I also bought a LT1 corvette motor for the car with 12k miles on motor. Has a brand new double pumper Holley 750cfm carb.. Motor just needs distributor and is ready to be installed. I just have not had the time to do it. Motor DOES NOT come with the car but If you want the motor we can make a deal on the side.

There is some picture during the build to see how involved it was and how quality the work was.  The axel was stripped of all mounts, shocks, brackets and rear control arm mounts off rear end.  I took the car completely apart to paint it correct and to install the lambo doors.

The front brakes are all new and the calipers were powdercoated chrome. Basically everything on this car is new! So many looks, thumbs up, Haters, and most of all PICTURES/VIDEOS! Car is located in Massachusetts. If you dont have the money please dont email me. I drive the car about once maybe twice a week.

Expect greater differentiation in GM's next-generation SUVs

    Thu, 03 Jan 2013

General Motors says its next-generation Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade models will offer shoppers improved interior differentiation. Car and Driver recently caught up with Chris Hilts, GM's creative manager of interior design, who said that the cabins will all feature unique instrument panels, consoles, center stacks and switchgear moving forward. Apparently GM is now aware that consumers may be bothered by the fact that today's $85,000 Escalade has effectively the same cabin as a $45,000 Tahoe. Hilts says SUV buyers want more refinement than their pickup purchasing counterparts - and those same buyers also want their SUVs to have more exterior differentiation between the company's Silverado and Sierra pickup lines. Shocking.
That all sounds good to us, but we've heard this song and dance before. GM made big waves about how different the new-for-2013 Silverado and Sierra would look from each other, but judging by what we've seen so far, GM's stylists are painting in shades rather than with the full spectrum. 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible headed for Geneva debut

    Mon, 28 Jan 2013

While most of the world is still coming down from all the hype surrounding the debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this month, we're already looking to the future. And according to Autoweek, the next chapter in the C7 story will unfold at the Geneva Motor Show in March. That's right, General Motors is reportedly using the Swiss stage as its venue to debut the Corvette Stingray convertible.
If this strikes you as odd, you aren't alone. After all, with a car that's such an American icon, we'd fully expect Chevrolet to unveil it here on our shores in either Chicago or New York. But according to Autoweek, GM is looking to boost export sales of its halo car, and since the C7 was engineered to compete with the world's best and brightest, showing it off in Geneva is somewhat of a smart move. What's more, those with sharp memories will recall that GM used the Geneva expo to debut the sixth-generation C6 Corvette convertible back in March 2004, so there's also a precedent.
Details surrounding the Corvette Stingray convertible are still slim, though we fully expect the 6.2-liter V8 and choice of either six-speed automatic or seven-speed manual transmissions to carry over unchanged. Prototypes spotted on the road showed the car fitted with a cloth convertible roof, as well.

Chevy monitors drivers' biometrics while experiencing new Corvette Stingray

    Fri, 25 Oct 2013

We tell you about what a car is like to drive every day, remarking on throttle response, steering weight and feedback, squat, dive, brake fade and a dozen or more other factors of performance. What we can't tell you, though, is what the car does to us - how its performance impacts us, physically. That's what makes this video series from Chevrolet so darn cool.
The Bow-Tie brand rented out Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, got several (very) different individuals together, strapped a bunch of sensors to their bodies to record biometric data ranging from heart rate to respiration to brain activity, and then handed them keys to the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The results are explained in a series of videos, devoted to each driver, showing how different people react to the Corvette's performance.
If, like your author, you're a nerd for medical science, this is going to be a fascinating set of videos. If not, it's still pretty cool to see how the body of someone with racing experience, like Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, reacts to tracking a car like the Corvette Stingray compared to the owner of legendary Detroit barbecue joint, Slows BBQ. Take a look below for all six videos from the series, or hop over to the Corvette Vimeo channel for the interactive experience, where you can see all the different metrics.
