This is my parents 1986 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Brougham they bought new from a local dealer and has only 99,500 well cared for miles and has every available option. I also have all the paperwork that came with the car including window sticker and option sheet. My parents had the dealer add their protective coatings and undercoatings and also had it Minged which is why it has no rust and has been garaged from day one. The car has not been driven much in the last few years but I drive it a couple miles per month to keep things lubricated The car is in overall great shape and I would not be afraid to drive it any where. As with any car its age it does have a few door dings and road rash but as you can see from the pictures it looks great and anywhere you drive it people come up and compliment on how great it looks. Its like a time capsule from 1986 and even the spare tire has not been out. I would like a $500 deposit at end of auction via PayPal and the balance in cash when you pickup car. Please ask all questions before bidding and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.

These cars are headed to the Great Crusher In The Sky
Fri, 24 Aug 2012It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).
Check out our gallery of discontinued cars above, then scroll down for more information.

There once was a time when Daewoo was one of the biggest companies in South Korea. It was larger than both LG and Samsung, and second only to Hyundai. But these days the name is all but gone.
Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs
Sun, 01 Dec 2013
The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
