This is my 2002 Z28 camaro, it is in good shape there is few flaws that are pictured.The paint is original there is a scuff on the lower front bumper a crack in the clear and a few rock chips no dints or dings no major body problems at all. The interior is in great condition with custom covered seats. (blue center z28 in the head rest) touch screen dvd player everything is in working order.Under the car is just as nice as the top which is a rare find in these cars. The t-tops do NOT leak. the body and drive line except the engine have 100841 miles.The engine was rebuilt about 6 months ago. There is a noise in it i cannot find ill try to include a video so you can hear it. This is actually a common problem and is said to be fine according to texas-speed and other well know LS websites/shops. I put a 3800 stall converter long tube headers slp loud mouth 2 exhaust slp cold air MS4 camshaft ls7 lifters stock bore/bottom end ls6 heads and intake,the rear is stock with LCA's It has been lowered and all new bilsten suspention. any questions feel to email me @ jslayman22@yahoo.com or message me on here. i reserve the right to end auction early due to the fact that it is also for sale locally. Watch this time-lapse build of the Chevy SS for NASCAR
Fri, 08 Feb 2013There's only about a week left until we get our first look at the production version of the 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan, but Chevrolet NASCAR teams have been looking at the race version of the car all winter. Autoweek has posted a really neat time-lapse video showing just a portion of what it takes to build one of NASCAR's new Gen6 stock cars.
Though the video is quite brief, it does show almost the entire build process starting with just the car's nose, and it gives us a good look at how integral the template is to the final product. As a bonus, Hendrick Motorsports also provided some videos showing two of its teams performing pit stop tests over the winter. The second video shows some of the more detailed aspects of the racecar's rear end, including the stock-looking trunk cutout and a newly mandated rear bumper extension that will be used on super speedways like Daytona and Talladega.

GM throttles back Chevy Malibu, Buick LaCrosse production over swollen inventories
Wed, 06 Feb 2013As inventory of the Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse continues to pile up, General Motors will be idling its Fairfax Assembly Plant for two weeks, according to Automotive News. This move comes about a month after the plant was shut down for three weeks in late December and early January for the same reason. As of January 31, the GM had a 94-day supply of Malibu stock while the LaCrosse was a little worse with a 117-day supply.
Just last week, GM announced that it would be investing $600 million in upgrading this plant, but it's unclear what future plans the company has in store for Fairfax considering slow sales of both the plant's models. We do expect a refreshed and more luxurious LaCrosse shortly and an early design update for the Malibu to be announced at some point this year, although we have had no official word as to when either will happen.
Why does the Corvette Stingray have so many vents? Here's why
Sun, 27 Jan 2013Just looking at the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, it's not hard to see that the car's design was created with aerodynamics at the forefront, but Chevrolet designers point out exactly what went into designing the iconic coupe in a pair of recently released videos. The videos show the Corvette going through early design phases, including clay models and wind tunnel tests, as well as talking to the car's chief engineer, Tadge Juechter.
Both videos help explain various aspects of the C7 Corvette, but it's the aero tuning of the car that is most interesting. This includes extra attention paid to the lower air dam and vented hood to help reduce drag and lift, while the rear quarter inlets are for differential and transmission cooling. Juechter said that some of these aero-tuned elements were inspired from GM's involvement in racing.
