I am the original owner of this amazing 2012 Camaro. I have driven her to and from work every day over the past 2- 1/2 years. I live 100 miles round-trip from where I work so this is why her mileage is higher than average. There is a new set of Firestone Firehawk tires (done at 55,000) and has an aftermarket sound system that was professionally installed that exceeds $2,500.00. I will also include a hardwired 7” Garmin GPS system that is mounted in the center console just in front of the gear shifter.

The Camaro is coated in a product called Plasti-Dip. If you do not know what Plasti-Dip is, please type it in to Google and visit you tube and websites like dipyourcar.com to learn more about this amazing product.

The paint on the car is in great shape. She does have some small nicks on the front end but nothing that I can remember being very large prior to coating her. I will include 2 pictures of the vehicle I took just prior to coating it with the Plasti-Dip. I coasted the Camaro in January of this year and it seems to be holding very well. To be honest some areas like the door handles and the rims need to be touched up but that’s it. The last item on the coating is that its not a perfect smooth finish. It is slightly rough, but it looks amazing. I do get compliments and “double-takes” everywhere I go. Every day I am approached by at least 2-5 people saying how nice the car looks or asking how I did it.

There is one small scratch on the dash board otherwise the interior is flawless including upgraded Lloyd Luxe floor mats, diamond plating in the truck and a weather tech mat in the trunk.

The only reason I am considering selling this car is because it is my only car and I need something bigger to drive everyday. I cannot express enough how well kept this car is and how happy you will be with the purchase.

Please do not hesitate to send me a message with any questions.

Race Recap: 2013 Twelve Hours of Sebring, cakewalk up front, grindfest out back [w/spoilers]

Tue, 19 Mar 2013

This year's 12 Hours of Sebring wasn't exactly a foregone conclusion because we're still talking about racing, and anything can happen when the speeds are as high as the adrenaline and the desire. But we're still talking about Audi bringing it's two top-spec racers - and its huge budget and its nearly neurotic attention to detail - to a race that it uses as a test bed for The 24 Hours of Le Mans and as a way to open the endurance racing season with a victory.
Besides, 12 hours is a long time, especially at Sebring, and things didn't go all Audi's way. On top of that, although it was a pretty quiet race, behind the Audis things got even grimier, with plenty of battles, plenty of mechanical issues, and the new BMW Z4 GTE and Viper GTS-R being race tested. Oh, and that brand new chromed-out DeltaWing...

Watch this time-lapse build of the Chevy SS for NASCAR

Fri, 08 Feb 2013

There's only about a week left until we get our first look at the production version of the 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan, but Chevrolet NASCAR teams have been looking at the race version of the car all winter. Autoweek has posted a really neat time-lapse video showing just a portion of what it takes to build one of NASCAR's new Gen6 stock cars.
Though the video is quite brief, it does show almost the entire build process starting with just the car's nose, and it gives us a good look at how integral the template is to the final product. As a bonus, Hendrick Motorsports also provided some videos showing two of its teams performing pit stop tests over the winter. The second video shows some of the more detailed aspects of the racecar's rear end, including the stock-looking trunk cutout and a newly mandated rear bumper extension that will be used on super speedways like Daytona and Talladega.
To see what Team Chevy has been up to all off-season, check out all three videos posted after the jump.

GM looks to combat high theft rates on SUVs with added tech

Tue, 24 Dec 2013

The Cadillac Escalade has been at or near the top of most-stolen and insurance-loss lists for more than seven years, until it dropped to number six earlier this year. In 2011 it was fitted with a host of new security features to address its easy-to-override features and that has brought the number of thefts down, but when eight of the ten most stolen rides are large SUVs from General Motors, no one will argue that something else needs to be done.
Thus, GM has fitted this same theft-deterring tech to the 2015 Suburban, Tahoe and Yukon. The Suburban and Tahoe will get the steering lock that the Escalade and Yukon already get, plus bolted-down third-row seats to deter thefts like this, stronger door lock cylinders and shields, and side-cut keys to inhibit picking.
Additional security measures in a Theft Protection Package can be purchased for $395, consisting of sensors on the greenhouse glass and interior, an incline/tilt sensor and added "key control systems" to make it more difficult for the men in black balaclavas to steal what you bought.
