2000 Chevrolet Silverado LS, 3500 (1 ton) four door crew cab, 237,000 miles and is ready another 237,000. The truck runs great, and does not leak a drop. It was customized for looooooog road trips, and has two TV's in the back head rest. I had my PS2 hooked up to it. It has a DVD player with wireless rear head phones , Bluetooth, and XM. The truck has the removable 5th wheel hitch, as well as a wireless remote hydraulic 1500lb tommylift lift gate, and a regular hitch. New Battery, and tires (10 ply ) have 6000 miles. Comes with 2 inch and 2 11/32 Draw tie receivers. Keyless entry as well. ALL maintenance has been performed. transmission, fuel pump, water pump, fan, and fan clutch, Oil, air filters, tune up. I just installed a brand new radiator I simply do not use it anymore, and I'm selling my 5th wheel as well.
Lift gate alone cost me 2500.00 My truck is for sale locally, so this auction may end abruptly. I can pick you up at the airport, or I can ship this anywhere you'd like. My friend owns an auto transport business, so the cost would be 1/2 of the normal fee. I've had it moved to Miami (from LA) for 650.00 I am the original owner, and I have taken good care of the truck. It's reliable, and perfect for delivery's. I used it to deliver copiers, and office equipment. Most of the miles come from towing my 5th wheel, which weighs 11,000 loaded, and does not even feel it. It has the 7.4 liter, 454 which is reliable, and easy to work on as well. The hazard lights flicker when activated, and the windshield wipers don't always return to the home position. This is a minor electrical malfunction, which I never corrected, but felt I should disclose. It has run 210 degrees it's whole life. I took it into the mechanic, and he noticed it was running 215 to to 220. He recommended a new radiator, so I replaced it. Happy Bidding ! 2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut
Sat, 16 Feb 2013Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.
Race Recap: 2013 Indianapolis 500 better than Bollywood; all the emotion, none of the music [spoilers]
Mon, 27 May 2013If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.
Refreshed 2014 Camaro confirmed for New York debut
Thu, 07 Mar 2013We've already seen leaked specs and potential spy shots, but the refreshed 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will make its official debut at the New York Auto Show in a few weeks.
Besides a tweaked exterior and the possibility of a high-output LS7 under the hood, we really don't know much else about the 2014 Camaro, but here's hoping for an improved interior, too.
In addition to the refreshed Camaro, Chevrolet will also be showing off the recently introduced Chevrolet SS, making its debut on the auto show circuit, and we'll also get our first look at the C7 Corvette coupe and convertible side-by-side.
