1985 Chevrolet C30, Quad Cab, Dually Pickup, 77k Original Miles, Clean Carfax! on 2040-cars
Staten Island, New York, United States
Up for sale we have a 1985 Chevy C-30, crew cab dually.
This is a factory 7.4 liter (454) V-8, Automatic truck. The Truck was an older repaint and looks like it was done by a shop and still shows very nice. The interior is in excellent shape, carpet and seats are excellent, headliner is decent, door panels are excellent. The front seats are in good shape with the drivers side showing the most wear. The rear seat was replaced and is a different color than the fronts, but is in excellent condition and matches the carpet. The glass is good around with no cracks or chips. Engine and transmission are excellent and the truck was meticulously maintained. I can provide some service records including an extensive air conditioning overhaul. The dual gas tanks function as they should as do all of the other power accesories. It has an aftermarket stereo that operates as it should. It also has dual batteries and one is almost new. Brakes feel good and the truck drives well. Tires are in good shape as well. The mileage is original and and can be documented via Carfax. The truck was not detailed in the photos only washed, and upon sale will be clay-ed, compounded, polished, waxed and shampoo-ed. The lettering on the truck will be removed as well. The pin striping is all hand painted and looks excellent. The previous owner never towed with it, and is a 6-truck owner, just trying to liquidate in order to expand his business. There is no rot on the truck body or frame. I have tried to photograph the few flaws on the truck, marker light cracked, rear bumper dented, and a small section on the bed that the clear has come off. We are offering
this C/30 at an aggressive price and we are open to offers. To make an appointment to view this C/30 or if you have any questions or need additional information or pictures, feel free to call Joe at North Shore Auto Sales Inc. anytime at (718)448-6259, email at joensauto@gmail.com , or via "contact the seller" at the bottom of the ad. We do require a $500 deposit within 24 hours of an agreed upon price, which will be taken through our dealership. There is a $75 Documentation fee in addition to the final agreed upon price. NYS residents are required to pay sales tax. We can do all NYS motor vehicle processing (new plates and registration or a plate transfer) for the actual motor vehicle fees. We can also provide a 30 day in transit permit for out of state residents for an additional $12.50. I can also assist in shipping, however it is ultimately the buyers responsibility. We are a registered NYS motor vehicle dealer selling pre-owned cars. We guarantee the car to be "safe and sound" needing no immediate mechanical repairs or attention, however this is a 46 year old car, so it is NOT perfect. We are a "brick and mortar" location. As a dealer we do have normal walk in traffic as well as other advertising avenues, so I reserve the right to remove the listing early if it is sold previous to auction end. The dealership and vehicle are located at 691 Richmond Rd, Staten Island, NY 10304. Feel free to stop by anytime to inspect any of our fine vehicles. Like us on Facebook! Chevy Corvette Stingray "colorizer" lets you chase the rainbow
Thu, 14 Feb 2013After you've convinced your better half to let you buy a new Corvette, then comes the hard part... actually figuring out which 'Vette you want. While Chevrolet has yet to release the official configurator for the 2014 Corvette Stingray, it did give us something else to kill some time playing around with.
The C7 Corvette "colorizer" recently went online, and it lets you look at the car in all of its available colors and wheel options from four different angles so that when this car does go on sale, you know exactly which one you want. It includes the Corvette's full pallet of colors including Torch Red, Laguna Blue and the hue you see above, Velocity Yellow. Toss in the black wheels, and we're sold. If you have some time this afternoon, be sure to check it out the Corvette colorizer for yourself, and even if you don't have the time, we've put together a gallery with all of the possible color combinations.
GM recalls Chevy Express, GMC Savana over rollaway concern
Mon, 21 Jan 2013The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall notice for a small number of General Motors fullsize vans due to possible rollaway concerns. On certain 2013 Chevrolet Express and 2013 GMC Savana models, it is possible to remove the key from the ignition without the shifter being in park.
Only 980 total units are being affected by this recall, and GM is fixing the issue by replacing the ignition cylinder and associated keys. Affected Chevy vans were built during most of November and December while its GMC counterpart was only built for a week in November. The recall goes into effect on January 23, and to find out if your vehicle applies to the recall, the GM and NHTSA contact numbers can be found on the official recall notice, which is posted below.
Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette
Mon, 07 Oct 2013How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.
