My 1966 Chevrolet custom 1 of a kind pickup truck. Custom polished stainless steel box with fiberglass fenders and corvette styled roll pan. Flow thru rear tail gate with custom bowtie with custom flashing lighting in center. Hard wood flooring and custom bowtie in box. Fiberglass front fenders and hood with shaved hood and door handles. Electric door poppers and power windows with vent windows removed. Custom rear sliding window. Leather bucket seats with I Did It steering collum and custom floor shifter. Custom hood release and Aluminum radiator with built in shroud and fan. Custom 3 inch stainless exhaust and stainless fuel tank mounted in rear frame with filler mounted in stainless box rail. Custom paint with air brushed 454 flags on both front fenders. Powered with a 454 450HP with a 700R4 auto with over drive and has a 12 bolt GM posi rear end with 411 gears. American Aluminum wheels with Cooper cobra GT tires. Real head turner and has won several awards at local shows. Reason for selling no time to enjoy it. Low reserve so bid to buy it. The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
Chevy confirms Corvette Stingray Convertible for Geneva
Thu, 07 Feb 2013Want proof that General Motors has increased global ambitions for its 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray? It's staging the world premiere of the model's convertible variant at the Geneva Motor Show early next month.
As previously rumored, the droptop rendered above will debut at the Swiss show, making its first appearance anywhere on March 5. According to Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet, the location makes sense because Corvette "...is an icon that has long been recognized and admired even in countries where it's never officially been offered."
While neither Chevrolet nor the Corvette has a major sales presence in Switzerland, the Bowtie's European headquarters is located in Zurich (about three hours to the northeast of Geneva) and GM has made it clear that it wants to build the Chevrolet brand up across Europe.
