The 57 has Big fins, chrome to spare, gold emblems, and stainless quarter panels let you know you are looking at the icon that is the 57 Chevy. Painted in a beautiful single stage Dark Blue color, this car is sure to draw stares whether cruising down the strip, or taking home trophies at car shows. The inside of these tri-five Bel Airs is a sight to behold with the two tone vinyl and cloth interior (this one in blue and black), 4 seat belts, AM/FM/Cassette, tinted windows, driver side are new and I have the other side as well just haven't had time to replace them, new heater core, new vent cables, new started, and one of the most beautiful dashes ever produced. This particular 57 has been restored back in 1982 , ,front disc brakes, aluminum radiator, electric fan, Boyd Coddington crown wheels, and radial tires. V8 automatic transmission 700 R transmission... This is the 2 door hardtop model, which are typically more desirable than post cars because you can roll your windows down and have no obstruction, just wind blowing all around you. 2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut
Sat, 16 Feb 2013Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.

As promised, Chevrolet and GMC are offering a live webcast of the world premiere for the all-new 2014 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500. After being teased with spy shots and blurry images like the one above for ages, now is the time to see the trucks in the metal, for real (well, as 'real' as it gets on a webcast, at any rate).
Shift your eyes down just below to see the reveal as it happens, starting at 9:30 AM EST. We anticipate having loads of images full technical information to share after the webcast, too, so truck aficionados should stay tuned. We'll also be bringing you live images of both trucks too, when we see them on the show floor at next month's Detroit Auto Show.

Thu, 02 May 2013With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year.
