I drove this car for three years before i decided to start the renovations. The new tires and wheels have at most 100 miles on them. All of the fluids have been drained, all of the electrical wires have been stripped, and most of the exterior parts have been removed to prepare for paint and body work. The body is solid with very minor body defects. Read below for more details and if you have questions ask me. I made the following upgrades to the vehicle: -new tubular upper/lower control arms -four wheel disc brakes with an upgraded hydraulic lines -aluminum wheels with 245/45r17 Ventus HPii wheels -new battery holder frame -new floor boards front and rear with rust preventer -polyurethane body mounts -front end sway bar the following is missing from the car: -front bench seat (was planning on putting in racing seats) -all of the wiring -front and rear windshields -dual exhaust pipes The back seat was recently re-upholstered in black vinyl. I have all of the parts and pieces to put the car back together except for the wiring (most of it fell apart in my hand) This car was a blast to drive but it kills me to see it sit in my garage collecting dust every day. The car has been in a garage its entire life. The car is being sold as is. No warranties can be given, all of the parts you see on the shelf are yours. I have the title from the last time I registered the vehicle as well as all of the receipts for all of the work done to the car as well as a photo album of the work completed. Shipping: preferred for local pick-up but if buyer wants to have the car shipped I am willing to help out. Subprime financing on the rise in new car sales, leasing too
Fri, 07 Dec 2012We all remember the financial crisis that began several years back. At its core was a splurge of subprime lending for housing loans. The housing bubble burst, triggering a collapse of the mortgage-backed securities market. Apparently, those types of loans still exist in the automotive industry, and the market share for these types of "nonprime, subprime, and deep subprime," loans has grown 13.6 percent compared to the third quarter a year ago.
According to an Automotive News report, high-risk lending expanded to 24.8 percent of total loans in Q3, up from 21.9 percent for this time last year. As this level increased, average credit scores of borrowers dropped to 755, down from 763 a year ago. In that time, the average financing amount increased $90 per vehicle, to $25,963.
At 818, Volvo maintains the highest per-owner credit score, while Mitsubishi has the lowest, at 694. The highest rate of borrowers was at Toyota, with 14 percent of the market, followed by Ford with 13.1 percent and Chevrolet at 11.1.

But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.
