Very nice rare find. 97 bmw z3 with super low miles. Bought from an elderly gentleman that had owned it since 99. Been stored since 2004. He purchased the car to play around with in the summer. He moved and put the car in storage. It's been inside ever since. Beautiful green exterior with classy tan leather. Has the 2.8 6cly and this car runs super smooth. Transmission shifts like a dream. The z3 needs a good cleaning. I would also recommend new tires. Fronts are pretty good, just old. Rear tires are wore on the inside. Other than the check engine light and the airbag light on it needs very little. As far as the warning lights, I have read that it's common in these cars. The battery had been dead for years. The closest bmw dealer is around 50 miles and I have not had time to have them turned off. Please bid accordingly.... Must sell and can't keep, although if would love to. BMW says yes to 1 Series M successor, no to M6 Gran Coupe with xDrive

The BMW 1 Series M Coupe was, without a doubt, one of our favorite cars from the past few years, and according to a BMW Blog interview, Dr. Friedrich Nitschke, head of the company's M division, has confirmed that a successor is in the works.
"We haven't made a decision yet, but the 1M coupe was so successful, that in my opinion, I am absolutely sure we will build a successor," Nitschke told BMW Blog. Currently, BMW only offers the M135i version of the new 1 Series hatch in Europe, which Nitschke says is "not a pure M car."
Moving elsewhere in the M range, BMW Blog asked about the M6 Gran Coupe that recently debuted at this year's Detroit Auto Show. The obvious competitors for this car will be higher-power versions of the Porsche Panamera and Audi RS7, but while both of those offer all-wheel drive, the M6 only sends power to its rear wheels.

In an attempt to put this new-versus-used argument to bed once and for all, Matt Farah of the The Smoking Tire has picked up a pair of $25,000 cars - a used, but lightly modified, 2003 BMW M3 and a 2013 Ford Fiesta ST. Naturally, there's a comparison.
Farah, as he's wont to do, does get into the nitty gritty of what each car is like to drive, and discusses the merits of used and new-car shopping. But as he rightly points out while testing the M3, "So, it is a good car. But like any used car, it really does depend on the individual car."
