Hello everyone! This is a 1993 850Ci V12 with the RARE 6 SPEED! Engine is in perfect condition. Transmission is in perfect condition. Clutch is in perfect conditoin. A/C blows ICE COLD!! Car is laser straight!!! Hard to come by in almost perfect condition like this! Looks like it just came out from a BMW showroom with an original cost of $100,000 out the door. This 850 drives flawlessly, shifts through all gears, all the gauges work properly. Only defect is one tiny rock chip on the top drivers side of the windshield. To cut the story short - everything works as it should. Next paragraph is a brief history of the car.
I bought the car from the owner that kept the car in immaculate condition. Always taken to BMW for maintenance as carfax shows. This car is all original except for the addition of M series wheels and tires, Bilstein shocks, an exhaust, a sound system and window tints. Upgrades are done tastefully. All in all its a one of a kind BMW that you will enjoy to own. I am selling this car to reduce the size of my collection. You are welcome to come check out the car or send a third party inspector. BMW launches new M Performance accessories for M5, M6
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Those looking to make their stock BMW look like an M model might be interested in an M Sport package. But those who already drive an M model and want that extra bit of attitude to take it over the top look towards the M Performance Accessories catalog, to which BMW has just added a new range of add-ons for the M5 and M6.
The new range of accessories include a titanium exhaust from Akrapovic that's 22 pounds lighter and an extra bit throatier than the stock unit. BMW's also offering a carbon-ceramic brake kit and 20-inch alloys to accommodate them, as well as a carbon aero kit, carbon interior trim and those trademark stripes for the truly extroverted BMW performance enthusiast.

Consumer Reports criticizes small turbo engines for misleading performance, fuel economy claims [w/video]
Tue, 05 Feb 2013Consumer Reports has taken aim at at small-displacement, forced-induction engines, saying the powerplants don't manage to deliver on automaker fuel economy claims. Manufacturers have long held that smaller, turbocharged engines pack all power of their larger displacement cousins with significantly better fuel economy, but the research organization says that despite scoring high EPA economy numbers, the engines are no better than conventional drivetrains in both categories. Jake Fisher, director of automotive testing for Consumer Reports, says the forced induction options "are often slower and less fuel efficient than larger four and six-cylinder engines."
Specifically, CR calls out the new Ford Fusion equipped with the automaker's Ecoboost 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. The institute's researchers found the engine, which is a $795 option over the base 2.5-liter four-cylinder, fails to match competitors in acceleration and served up 25 miles per gallon in testing, putting the sedan dead last among other midsize options.
The Chevrolet Cruze, Hyundai Sonata Turbo and Ford Escape 2.0T all got dinged for the same troubles, though Consumer Reports has found the turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder in the BMW 328i does deliver on its promises.
