This is a beautiful, unmolested 1962 Buick Skylark V8 Convertible in excellent condition inside and out. It has the rare and very desirable optional 215ci V8 engine. This beauty has been pampered all its life and it shows! It is a 59K original mile car that is all original except for only one repaint. This Buick in my opinion is "One of the nicest '62 Buick Slylark Convertibles around, offered for sale". It was ordered Artic White, which is one of the prettiest colors offered in 1962 with a gorgeous, all original red interior. The car retains all its original sheet metal and is solid as rock. It has a beautiful all original red interior in it that looks amazing! It is original right down to the carpet. Absolutely everything works in the car. Even the clock works intermediately. All the chrome and trim on the dash is bright and clean as new. The dash pad is excellent with a perfect steering wheel and horn ring. Inside the trunk is all original with its original trunk material and spare. Even the convertible top is original and still in excellent condition.

Mechanically, the engine and transmission run flawlessly! This Buick drives with no issues at all! The original numbers matching 215ci V8 motor provides great power to move this little diamond around. The car fires right up and run as it was new. J.D. Power: Mini, Lexus again offer most satisfying sales experience

JD Power has released its annual Sales Satisfaction Index Study, and once again Mini and Lexus have taken top honors. Overall, buyers are more satisfied with the auto-buying sales experience than they were last year, with those surveyed reporting an average score of 664 points on a 1,000-point scale. That's up from 648 in 2011. Dealer satisfaction also increased by five points over last year as well.
All told, Lexus brought home an index score of 737, which was high enough to put it atop the luxury brands for the second year in a row. JD Power says Infiniti came in second in that category with a score of 728 and Cadillac rounded out the podium with it's rating of 725. Speaking of Infiniti, that brand saw the single largest jump in sales satisfaction of any brand on the survey, popping up 52 index points over 2011.
Among mass-market brands, Mini ranked highest with a score of 712, followed closely by Buick with 706 and GMC farther down the line with 683. You can check out the full press release below for more information.

We admit it. We have no earthly idea how this whole thing is going to shake out.
Typically, after driving a new car or truck, we come away prepared to hazard a guess as to whether said model has a good chance of being a sales success. We've amassed enough time watching the industry, scrutinizing the competitors, and so on, to make a reasonably educated bet. Yet here we are, days removed from driving the new 2013 Buick Encore, and we still have no bloody idea.

Buick picks top 11 highlights from first 11 decades

Buick has taken the time to highlight some of the company's personal points of pride from the past 110 years. Those include everything from the automaker's very first vehicle, the 1904 Model B, to what Buick claims is the world's first concept car: The 1938 Y Job (above). That one also walked away with the worst name for a design study.
All told, the automaker has sold 43 million vehicles through the end of last year, and those include the lusty 1963 Riviera. That model celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2013, and remains one of the brand's most iconic designs.
Of course, Buick is rightfully proud of its quickest model, too. The 1987 GNX managed a 4.6-second bolt to 60 mph in tests by Car and Driver, and it also took the honor of being one of the automaker's rarest creations at just 547 units. You can check out all 10 in the gallery above.
