This is a 1964 Ford Galaxie 500, 2 dr. fastback, non-running with 71,335 original miles......been sitting since 1970.....Texas car.

It is an X code.....352 ci big block V8, 2bbl carb special.

3 speed manual transmission on the tree...could easily convert to floor shifter or 4 speed.

Body is real straight, minor surface rust only.

Minor repairable rust in right rear passenger's floorpan.

All chrome and trim is there...also have headlight trim pots (not shown).

All interior is there, but needs to be totally re-done.

There are numerous cracks in the windshield....passenger's wing glass is missing....all other glass is there and perfect. Windows roll up and down.

Great project for resto-mod, drag car, vintage NASCAR, or original.

Sold as is, with bonded title....buyer will need to provide transport and loading labor.

Ford unveils Mustang 50th anniversary logo, plans merchandise

The Ford Mustang turns 50 years old this year, and this is the logo that will announce the milestone occasion on a special line of merchandise. The graphic is the result of an internal design competition, and Ford will give 50 different companies the license to use it on traditional logo merchandise like shirts and watches, along with some untraditional items like pinball machines.
Ford is going to begin the celebrations at this week's New York Auto Show and continue them throughout the year, but April 17 is the official birthday of the the pony car that just won't quit. You can expect to start seeing anniversary merchandise in the next couple of weeks.

Ford Focus Electric and ST recalled over lighting issue

Ford is recalling 6,308 units of the 2012 and 2013 Focus Electric and 2013 Focus ST that were fitted with HID headlights because a "wiring incompatibility" could keep the front side marker lights from working. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the recall should begin in the middle of this month, after which owners can take their cars to dealers to have the wiring assembly repaired free of charge.
