This car was our sons car. He is now off to college and we need to make room in the driveway. I think this car would be good transportation for low dollars.
Plus side:
Starts and Runs great
Front Brakes are 1 year old
Air works well
Body pretty good shape
Wheels are pretty cool
Little work could be pretty nice second car
Tires are ok
Does not use excessive oil or coolant
Not smokey
Down side.
Hood is rusty
Windshield is cracked
Exhaust not stock and is a little loud but not leaking
Ignition and trunk key work fine but do not fit the doors. No way to lock or unlock the doors with a key. Locksmith could fix this for around $50 dollars (We are told)
So bottom line this is a 1993 car. So when you have a 20 year old car things can break or go bad at any point. I feel the car is sound but remember this is as is sale.
I would not hesitate to drive her anywhere, has a comfortable ride.
Thanks for looking,
John

Chevy monitors drivers' biometrics while experiencing new Corvette Stingray
Fri, 25 Oct 2013We tell you about what a car is like to drive every day, remarking on throttle response, steering weight and feedback, squat, dive, brake fade and a dozen or more other factors of performance. What we can't tell you, though, is what the car does to us - how its performance impacts us, physically. That's what makes this video series from Chevrolet so darn cool.
The Bow-Tie brand rented out Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, got several (very) different individuals together, strapped a bunch of sensors to their bodies to record biometric data ranging from heart rate to respiration to brain activity, and then handed them keys to the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The results are explained in a series of videos, devoted to each driver, showing how different people react to the Corvette's performance.
If, like your author, you're a nerd for medical science, this is going to be a fascinating set of videos. If not, it's still pretty cool to see how the body of someone with racing experience, like Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, reacts to tracking a car like the Corvette Stingray compared to the owner of legendary Detroit barbecue joint, Slows BBQ. Take a look below for all six videos from the series, or hop over to the Corvette Vimeo channel for the interactive experience, where you can see all the different metrics.
GM recalls select Chevy Cruze, Sonic and Buick Verano models over airbag issue
Wed, 14 Nov 2012General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units.
GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.
