2007 VW Jetta GLI Fahrenheit Edition. Special edition GLI (only 1200 of these care were made) has a 2.0 turbo engine, 17in alloy wheels, 6 speed maunal transmission, and stiff independent euro tuned sport suspension. Interior has Leather heated seats with electric lumbar support, 6 disc stereo with aux input for ipod or phone, bluetooth integrated stereo, 10 speaker VW premium sound system and is serious XM radio ready. Car has power moonroof, rear spoiler, and tons of trunk space. Clean car that was VERY well taken care of. Fresh oil change, timing belt, water pump, cam follower, and tune up just completed. I'm a VW fanatic and always kept this car clean and taken care of. Looking for a good home for it. Car currently has 101,000 miles on it and it's all highway from commuting every day. Car is very quick and fun to drive. I currently still owe some money on the car, so I would have to work out purchasing options with the buyer. Car is located in Ocean County, NJ and I would like the seller to pick the car up but delivery in the area would also be possible. Please e-mail me with any questions. Thanks!

VW to unveil diesel-electric Twin-Up! in Tokyo
Fri, 08 Nov 2013We've received multiple reports that Volkswagen will be bringing a diesel-electric concept to the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, set to take place later this month. The car, called the Twin-Up!, is based on the Up! city car, with some sources claiming this is a thinly veiled concept that will eventually enter production.
According to Automotive News Europe, the Twin-Up! will reportedly return 214 miles per gallon on the US cycle by combining an 800-cc, two-cylinder diesel and an electric motor. It will also boast plug-in capabilities, and will be able to cover 30 miles on electric power alone.
Autocar has a more complete picture of the Twin-Up!'s powertrain, though, claiming it's a modified version of the hybrid system found in the Volkswagen XL1. The Twin-Up! will get a more potent, 47-horsepower electric motor to the XL1's 27-hp unit, but will retain that car's 47-hp turbodiesel. The battery pack will also grow, from 5.5 kilowatt hours to 8.6 kWh. Both of these increases are necessary due to the increased weight of the Twin-Up! - it's some 900 pounds heavier than an XL1.
Volkswagen says goodbye to Eos, Routan in 2015 updates
Wed, 23 Jul 2014Usually automakers announce changes to their lineup individually on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis, but sometimes it all comes at once - especially when the changes are ones we either expected or might not otherwise notice. That's the path Volkswagen has gone with changes to its US lineup for 2015.
The biggest change is what we already knew: that the new Golf arrives for the 2015 model year, bringing with it the new GTI, Golf R, e-Golf and Golf SportWagen (to replace the previous Jetta wagon). But there are some new details as well.
For starters, Volkswagen has finally confirmed that both the Eos and the Routan - both long rumored to be on their way out - will be exiting this year. The Eos hardtop convertible, pictured above, will linger for one last year, its Sport trim replaced by a new Final Edition with 18-inch wheels, two-tone leather interior and enhanced equipment.
2013 Volkswagen GTI Driver's Edition brings exclusivity to the granddaddy of hot hatches
Thu, 07 Feb 2013The Volkswagen booth at this year's Chicago Auto Show was filled with various special edition models of the Beetle and GTI. In addition to the GTI Wolfsburg Edition, the Volkswagen GTI Driver's Edition helps to wrap up the 2013 model year as VW readies the all-new MkVII Golf next year.
Only 3,000 of the GTI Driver's Edition models will be produced in four-door body style only, and the available color palette will be limited to just Candy White, Carbon Steel Gray and Deep Black. The package will come standard with the GTI's Sunroof and Navigation package, and it will add unique features such as the 18-inch "Laguna" wheels, a golf-ball shift knob, partial leather seats and red-stitching on the carpeted floor mats. Buyers of this package will also get a certificate of authenticity and some GTI swag such as a hat, keychain and parking sign.
Starting price for the 2013 Volkswagen GTI Driver's Edition is $29,695 with the six-speed manual and $30,795 if you choose the DSG - both prices exclude destination charges.
