2009 Toyota Matrix 4-door Silver Extra Warranty on 2040-cars

We bought this car used - Certified Pre-Owned - from a Toyota dealer. It has had one previous owner. The ONLY reason we are selling this car is because my husband landed a new job with a company vehicle and we no longer need this car or wish to make payments on it while it's sitting in the garage. It's in great condition and still has a premium extended warranty from Toyota that we purchased along with the vehicle up til 100,000 miles or May, 2015. It includes roadside assistance and also is transferable. The car is missing the floor mats and there are no mats in the trunk either. We bought it this way. It also has one small dent in a door about the size of a quarter and a few smaller, hardly noticeable dents probably from a shopping cart from previous owner. Other than that, the paint and body is in excellent condition and the inside is in great shape minus regular wear. We just had it detailed, although the car wash place did not remove some small glue spots left from when my husband had his iphone holder on the dash. That can be removed with Goo Gone and a good scrub. I also want to mention that "Clear" for eBay on the options above means the title is clean, not salvaged and has not been in any accidents. I had someone question that since "clear" often does mean "free and clear" like I have the title and own the car outright. I DO have a loan. In order to buy this car, we will have to arrange (with signed documents, bill of sale, etc.) to mail you (the buyer) or have you pick up the title once I receive it (which would probably take about a month). If necessary, we can go to the DMV together to transfer the car. If you'd like to come see the car in person, please email me and plan on being available after 6:00 PM during the week. Weekends we should be free all day for someone wanting to see it. I am willing to deliver the car to you upon list closing within an hour drive from Diamond Bar, CA on a weekend. Four Wheeler crowns Ultimate Factory 4x4... who wins?
Thu, 15 Nov 2012Nearly every automaker doing business in the SUV or pickup truck segments offers a package designed to improve the off-road capabilities of its wares. But, of course, not all such factory kits are created equal. How, then, to separate the wheat from the chaff? Gather each of them up and put them through their paces, naturally.
The folks from Four Wheeler and PickupTrucks.com joined forces to run just such a comparison test, with the winner named the Ultimate Factory 4x4. A total of seven vehicles showed up to the fight: the 2012 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, 2012 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X and Xterra PRO-4X, 2012 Ram Power Wagon, and 2012 Toyota 4Runner Trail and Tacoma TRD T|X Baja Series.
With the contestants in place, the whole crew put each vehicle through a battery of tests that included skidpad and acceleration measurements, a hillclimb, a rocky stairstep course and a rock garden. Considering the nature of the beasts, on-road ride and comfort were not part of the routine.
Toyota Aygo stars in 'invisible driver' prank
Sat, 14 Jun 2014We love a good automotive-themed prank. Rémi Gaillard remains a favorite, although maybe we should take a closer look at MagicOfRahat, another online prankster. Rahat, who has developed a bit of a reputation for blending in with car seats, giving the impression that there's no one behind the wheel, has taken his talents to Europe, in a new video for Toyota.
Dressed to look like the seat of the new Toyota Aygo, Rahat goes about town freaking out tollbooth operators, valets, fast food servers and even receiving a bit of unwanted attention from the police. The result is, as is usually the case with this prank, pretty darn amusing. We were kind of hoping he'd pop up and give his victims a fright, as he did in his Halloween video, but alas, that wasn't to be.

Mazda CX-5 named Japan's Car of The Year, Subaru BR-Z wins "Special Award"
Mon, 03 Dec 2012The Mazda CX-5 stamped its Kodo design and SkyActiv technology authority all over the Japan Car of the Year awards, taking the top prize ahead of the Subaru BRZ/Toyota GT 86. It is Mazda's second victory in the last ten years, the 2005 MX-5 claiming the same trophy, and the fourth time the Hiroshima company has won.
The award is decided by 60 local "automotive experts and journalists," and open to any passenger car released in Japan from November 1, 2011 to October 31, 2012 that has sold more than 500 units. Each judge gets 25 votes, his or her top vote getting 10 points, the rest of the points being spread among the judge's choice for the next best four cars.
The second-place getters were the Toyobaru twins with 318 votes, the surprise being they didn't beat or get any closer to the crossover. The Subaru BRZ did claw some mojo back, earning the Special Award given to cars that have made "an exceptional impact." The BMW 3 Series was third overall and won the Import Car of the Year award with plenty of room between it and the second place Range Rover Evoque.
