2003 Toyota Camry XLE fully loaded with all options. 1 owner car with 69k original miles. Has all factory options including sunroof and rear sunshade. Has XM satellite tuner installed and you only need to subscribe. Recent maintence just completed as well as new brakes, front struts and strut mounts. Car is originally a New York car and was used as a summer transportation in upstate NY. Was shipped to Boca Raton, Florida when the owner retired and used stricty as a secondary car. Everything works. AC blows cold. Drives perfect. Will make a great first car for high school or college student or just great transportation. As stated car is in South Florida. Has a clean NY title. Car Fax will show 1 minor accident reported. Front bumper was replaced. Structural integrity of car was not affected in any way shape or form. Inspections are more than welcomed. I have stated everything about the car. It is not perfect. There are SMALL nics here and there nothing major for a 10 year old car. It is priced pretty fairly. Check KBB and compare. Toyota Matrix not long for this world?
Thu, 18 Apr 2013According to a report from AutoGuide, Toyota doesn't have plans to replace the aging Matrix hatchback in the United States after this year. If true, the timing coincides with the replacement for the Corolla, on which the Matrix is based, with that car slated to get its first complete redesign since 2006 (2008 in the US market).
We'd love to tell you how many Matrix models were sold by Toyota in the United States last year, but the automaker chooses to bundle Matrix sales with Corolla sales, so we have no idea. That said, we have to assume sales of the hatchback don't contribute much overall to the total number of Corolla-based machines.
We're also unsure if Toyota will choose to exit the youth-oriented compact hatchback market entirely, or if the automaker will rely instead on its hybrid Prius line and Scion models like the xB and xD.

Four Wheeler crowns Ultimate Factory 4x4... who wins?
Thu, 15 Nov 2012Nearly every automaker doing business in the SUV or pickup truck segments offers a package designed to improve the off-road capabilities of its wares. But, of course, not all such factory kits are created equal. How, then, to separate the wheat from the chaff? Gather each of them up and put them through their paces, naturally.
The folks from Four Wheeler and PickupTrucks.com joined forces to run just such a comparison test, with the winner named the Ultimate Factory 4x4. A total of seven vehicles showed up to the fight: the 2012 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, 2012 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X and Xterra PRO-4X, 2012 Ram Power Wagon, and 2012 Toyota 4Runner Trail and Tacoma TRD T|X Baja Series.
With the contestants in place, the whole crew put each vehicle through a battery of tests that included skidpad and acceleration measurements, a hillclimb, a rocky stairstep course and a rock garden. Considering the nature of the beasts, on-road ride and comfort were not part of the routine.
