I rate Summit Auto Raleigh 3/5 stars. I recently purchased a 2007 black Honda Accord Coupe 90k miles for $12.1 from this used car dealership. I have only had my car for day so I cannot tell you if it`s a lemon or not so I am just going to tell you about my purchasing experience. I would have given this place a 5 star rating if it was not for 3 three things. 1) The female who`s the financial sales manager kept cal... view moreling me "sug" "hun" and pet names. I really did not like her calling me those names. 2) We arrived at 4:20p and did not leave until 7:30p. The process was very very very long. I knew what car I wanted when I got there, it was just a lot of down time waiting, waiting, sitting around, waiting. 3) This is probably the biggest reason why I did not give Summit Auto of Raleigh 5 stars. The male financial sales guy who we met with to sign the paper work (white guy) lied to me straight to my face! I am first time car buyer, however I have good credit by paying off my monthly credit cards. Also, I am a full time college student and my income is a little low thus I needed a cosigner - we knew that before we arrived. When we entered his office I notice my cosigner`s name on the board beside the car and when we were going through signing the documents he kept telling my cosigner to sign first and finally when we got to the retail installment sale contact I saw that I was the cosigner and my cosigner is the buyer. I guess the white guy thought I could not read because when I asked him "Am I the cosigner?" He stated, "No it`s a joint application." The paper work clearly states otherwise not that it`s a big deal that I am I just wanted to know more information of how it works because I have other friends in need of a car and I wanted to provide them with as much information so when they go they can know what to expect. I have two friends actually. Not only that but I believe that my license plates are going to go to my cosigner`s house and then she`s going to have to mail them to me because we live very far away in different cities. I feel like that guy was not honest with me because or was not very informative (very short with his answers and did not take his time to explain things thoroughly). So all in all, if Summit Auto would have kept to calling me by my first name, shorten the process time, and the financial sales guy would have taken his time and not lied or explained I would have given them 5 stars!

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM!!! I am a first time car buyer and my grandmother is a senior citizen and they took advantage of us. I did a application online and Mr. Ed call , text and e-mail. So I gave him all my information and didn`t get a call back and I text him after Christmas and he act like he had a attitude and didn`t call me back or nothing. Then he got smart on the text message. So if you go to Summit don`t go Mr. Ed.

Recently bought a used car for my God Daughter from Saturn of Raleigh and with 6 weeks the motor seized up. I know that it was a used car and I could expect some problems, but they should have at least repaired it, told me something, before selling or wholesaled it out. I will never go back to Saturn again, and I was thinking of buying a new saturn for my wife. I guess she wii have to have a Honda instead. i bought a car at saturn of raleigh mid october of 2006, and it came to me as a shock. everywhere else we had gone to look at cars we got lousy service, or we had talked to nice people but they didn`t have enough information on the car or about total costs etc. when we came to saturn of raleigh though, we were greeted at the door, and then shown around. the car we were looking at was for my son, and he had wanted a s... view moreports car, not something superfast, but just a head turner. we did a 24 hour trial on a dodge neon, but later we caught eye on a mercury cougar they had in the used car area. the car was in very good condition, and we finally decided to buy it. we had not been pressured or believed that we couldn`t trust the people that worked there. the service was excellent, the cost was excellent, the car was excellent. if you want a saturn, or just a used car, definatly take a gander their way.
