Reviews:

Had an oil change done an they found a leak in my radiator. The car was also low on coolant. They walked me out to the car and actually showed it to me. I am glad they caught the leak because I could have had a real problem. The price was fair and they even gave me a lift to work while the did the repairs. These guys were top notch and I strongly recommend giving them a chance

Buy 2 get 2 tires at 160 each ...
Buy 2 get 2 tires at 160 each cost $800???? Holy hidden cost!!! I took my truck in to get screwed on the price and one tire wouldn`t hold air.... never had a problem before but turns out they cracked a rim. They wouldn`t repair or replace it but they offered to put it on if I paid for it? I wouldn`t take my bicycle tire to get worked on there! They convinced my wife to replace 4 tires and brakes whe... view moren the pads weren`t even half way used, over half the life of the tires left. The brakes never squeaked or pulled at all, she went in for a tire rotation! I asked if they could replace the mufflers while working on the tires and they said they could. because who wants to take a vehicle 2 places when one decent store would be fine? they bent me over on tires and then couldn`t fix the mufflers. They did something similar with a bolt in the front end a couple of years prior to the rectal breach they performed recently.

Total Fools!
My battery died the other day in the Target parking lot and like a shining beacon, National Tire & Battery were right there. I had a fellow jump my car and I went over there to get a new battery. I knew from the minute I got in there I was trapped in a bad nightmare! There was no one at the counter or in the back office for over 30 minutes. At about the half hour mark, I walked into the shop and was yelled at... view more by the only person there to get out. I asked him if there was anyone who could help me and he said ""Yeah, that`s why we have a front door, now use it."" I told him there wasn`t anyone there for over 30 minutes. The look on his face was like he was going to rip someones head off. He stopped what he was doing and started looking for his co-workers, who all happened to be walking across the parking lot from Taco Bell. At this point I ""used the front door"" and went back in to get some help. The guy at the counter asked me what I needed and I told him. He then said. ""So when do you need the work done?"" I ignored his ignorance and told him as soon as possible so I could get home. He walked out to my car and kicked the tires, looked under the back of the car near the exhaust, then looked inside the car. He opened the door to the car and looked on the inside of the door jam. He then walked past me and back into the showroom and preceded to tell me I needed new tires ...... I told him I would need to make a call to see if I could get them and asked for the phone. He gave it to me and I called AAA to come jump my car......

NTB Cary? Never Again...
My daughter`s car needed four new tires and NTB was $200 less expensive than my regular mechanic. Money is tight these days, so I took a chance. Huge mistake. The day after the tires were installed, my daughter experienced severe problems with her steering. She took it back to NTB and - low & behold - a $60 part had suddenly `gone bad` and needed replacing. Sixty bucks - not too bad - but, wait! There`s more! Add $... view more200 in labor. Lesson learned. I`ll never again take my car to anyone other than my trusted mechanics at Choice Auto in Raleigh. Trust me, pay the extra up front and avoid the NTB scam.

terrible service after the sale
Absolutely horrible. Initial service was OK, but they damagers my car on the lift. This happened in August and here it is the middle of December. I have gotten a 31/2 month runaround about getting it repaired and how they would poay for it. As of now, it has been fixed and the body shop won`t release it until it`s paid for. They are giving me the same lines about ""cutting a check"" tha i have heard since the summer.... view more Neither the store manager nor the area manager had any real interest in resolving the damage they did to my car, wouldn`t return calls etc. even after calls to the customer service center. Avoid them like the plague.

Very unprofessional and cooperative
They gave us terrible service. Talking with them on the phone the guy said one thing and 5 minutes later denied what he had originally said. They were supposed to call me before they ever started any work on my car to let me know what it was going to cost. They over charge you for every little thing. The advertise getting your car done in one hour. That does not hold true. I had gone in at 3:30pm and the guy at the ... view morefront desk told me that the mechanic left at 5pm and come to find out he stays til 9pm when the place closes. Not a very honest place to go. They had also told us that other things needed to be replaced that were brand new on the car. As said above, not very honest.
