Reviews:

Honest, affordable service. Gary and his team at Duraleigh Auto Center have serviced my vehicles for over 10 years, and I recommend them to all of my colleagues and friends. They provide an honest assessment of what you DO and DON`T need. This gives me confidence that I`m only paying for what I need, and I haven`t found better prices anywhere else. Once, when I needed to pick up my wife in the middle of the day, Gary... view more`s office manager drove me 15 minutes to do so. You won`t find a better customer experience.

Auto Repair with Integrity
I have taken my used cars to Duraleigh Auto Center for three years. They have always been honest and affordable, but recently have impressed me beyond belief! They repaired the power steering in my 2001 Ford and provided a year`s warranty on the parts and labor. Two months later, I felt a tension in the power steering and took it in without an appointment. They were extremely busy, provided someone to look at it imm... view moreediately. It was passed to a more experienced mechanic for further analysis. I was called within hours and told it was the same part they had replaced and it would be ordered that day. The repair was worked into their schedule as soon as the part arrived, without any charge to me. When I picked the car up, I informed the owner that they could have told me it was another part and I would not have known. He said ""WE WOULD HAVE KNOWN! and that is not acceptable"". I will always take my cars (new and used) to them for analysis before I use anyone else.

Yes.....An honest repair shop!
These folks are great. I went in because my brakes were squealing. They replaced my front brakes without charging me an arm and a leg. They were courteous, quick, and I really felt like they cared about me and my car. I`ll be back!

Fixed my tire problem
I went to Duraleigh for a tire alignment problem that was not fixed at Cary Land Rover. The dealer stated there was no problem with alignment, yet a new set of tires only lasted 12000 and they were rotated regularly. I went to Duraleigh because of the problem with my four new tires. Not only was the car finally aligned correctly, but it has never run smoother. Thanks to the master mechanic Bill, the Land Rover ha... view mores never run better. If you`ve got a serious problem, get Bill to look at it not the dealer is my recommendation.

VERY HONEST
MY CAR STARTED TO CHOKE AND SPUTTER AND IT SEEMS AS THOUGH THE ENGINE WOULD QUIT AT ANY MOMENT. i TOOK THE CAR TO DURALEIGH AUTO CENTER., I FULLY EXPECTED A BIG BILL. INSTEAD IT WAS A VERY SMALL BILL BECAUSE THEY REPLACED A FUEL LINE RETAINER CLIP THAT FIX.ED IT. I CAN`T THANK THEM ENOUGH FOR BEING SO HONEST.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
This place is a rip off. My daughter went to them to for a regular servicing of her car. In the process they informed her that she need her oil gasket replaced. She went in to get a regular servicing and ended up paying them $338.00. 2 months later her car broke down, ( it was the motor). She didn`t have a drop of oil in her car. When informed them, they wanted her to have the car towed to them to look at it. O... view morence they looked at it and found out the motor was gone, they said she had multiple oil leaks in her engine. If you just changed the oil gasket and the oil how did you not let anyone know then that there were multiple oil leaks. They offered to replaced the engine at our cost. Exactly, they sound like they are on something that`s not right. When question them about the motor and the multipe oil leaks, they said they told her, but no where on the receipt does it mention anything about multiple oil leaks. If you can recommend other things that will bring the price up to $338.00, how are you not going to mention anything about multiple oil leaks. Because they thought we were fools and have them to replace a motor for $1500.00 or more. The Owner, Manager, and technicians are all incompetent. They are liars and if you don`t want to spending more than you need to then RUN from this place.

Unnecessary charge
I was charged $80.00 for a ""diagnostic test"" for ""service engine soon"" light. In fact they advised prior to the test that a loose gas cap could cause the problem. Instead of ""checking the cap"", they performed the test. Upon arrival home I called three Buick dealers and discovered had they replaced the cap, the ""service engine soon"" light would extinguish itself after several cycles of the engine. These... view more people should have checked the cap and eliminated any need for the diagnostic test. ""This charge was ""unconscionable"".

I have taken all my cars to Duraleigh Auto Center and have had nothing but great experiences. They have always completed the job by the time they promised. I have also been very satisfied with the results of their work. The best part...they were honest with me. I will definetly continue using them.

Avoid this place
I took my Jeep there and when I picked it up the next day I noticed they did not rotate my tires as they were supposed to. Instead of them apologizing and fixing the problem on the spot, they told me I`d need to schedule an appointment the following week to complete the tire rotation. A couple of weeks later, I was driving to Ohio and smelled smoke and discovered that Duraleigh Auto put too much transmission fluid in... view more my car and it was spilling out on my exhaust system. I called Duraleigh and was told there was nothing they could do because I was 200 miles away. I asked for the owner and they said he wasn`t there but they would call and have him call me right back, but he never called. Avoid these fools like the plague.
