I had an absolutely horrendous experience here. I called to get a quote from them the day before I took my car in. I couldn`t understand what the person who answered the phone said, so I asked if it was Cataline Auto. He said yes, it was. I asked for a quote on replacing the clutch in my car, and was told that it would be $267. The next day, my husband took the car in. I get down there to pick up my car, anticipating a bill less than $300. He hands me one for $798,22. Absolutely disgusting. The clutch repair alone was more than double what I was quoted ($267). It was $534.00. I had no call or contact from the shop letting me know that my total cost had nearly tripled from what I was quoted. When I brought up the fact that I had been told it would be less than $300, he outright told me I had not talked to anyone in his shop. I said that, yes, I had, and that I had even confirmed I was calling the correct establishment. He proceded to tell me that I had not talked to him, which I agreed with. I talked to someone else, and they put me on hold, and quoted me the $267. Had I known that the cost was going to triple from the estimate, I never would have brought it to this disgusting, dishonest man. Save yourself the headache (not to mention money) and take your car someplace reputable.
