The Best Auto Repair Shop In San Diego!

I have had a 1971 VW Bug, 1990 Ford Taurus, 1994 and 1998 Dodge Dakota, 2004 Chevy Camaro, and a slew of other vehicles. I may have owned a parking lot of cars but I always stayed with one mechanic, Don Townsend at A & D Auto Repair and Service. Don Townsend was my mechanic while I lived in San Diego County and after moving to the Seattle Area I was honestly at a loss without him. The three hardest things to find in ... view morelife are a kind doctor, a nimble dentist and an honest mechanic. I had found the doctor and dentist, but the honest mechanic was proving to be somewhat of a Holy Grail quest. Even after he knew he wouldn`t be working on my vehicles any longer, he suggested some places to look and added some qualifications to look for in another mechanic. That is what I call an amazing experience and excellent service.

Excellent Service

After having my car go into the dealer for the last time I started asking friends about trustworthy mechanics that I could get my repairs done with. A and D Auto Service was my second choice from recommendations simply because it was further than I wanted to travel (as I live in North County). However (I just didn?????????t care for the first shop after a visit), after taking my car here and speaking with ?????????Don????????? the O... view morewner (and having my truck fixed the same day), I would be willing to travel even further. I always kind of figured getting my car fixed was something anyone shop could do, and although there is truth to that, the problem is finding someone who can diagnose the problem THE FIRST TIME! My time is valuable to me and on top of that the dealerships have always charged me more even when they haven?????????t fixed the problem I originally came in for. This shop is A+++ in my book!
