Here is a really rare example of a well maintained early Mercedes convertible. Offered by the 3rd owner with only 102,787 original miles. This Mercedes was purchased locally and stayed in the area since then. 9 years of the vehicles life was spent in climate controlled storage. After being brought out of storage, numerous drive train parts were replaced to make it 100% once again.
The body is in great shape with no previous damage and a coat of the original color was applied to the vehicle in 2000 to freshen things up.. Very polished and presentable.
Interior is original with signs of age but nothing major, very usable. With new seat upholstery the vehicle would look brand new.
Engine and drive-train is detailed and runs like a top with recent service. All service and repair documents are present.
Glass is clear as new and in great shape. Chrome and body trim show very little signs of wear or age. Overall VERY straight. All plastics and lenses are in excellent shape with no bleaching or cracks.

Mercedes S-Class Magic Body Control ad is clucking awesome
Tue, 24 Sep 2013This is a new ad from Mercedes-Benz. At no point does it show an automobile. Instead, it stars animals, but not the sort you might normally see in car commercial. This ad is all about chickens. It is bizarre, to say the least, with Diana Ross and the Supremes belting it out in the background, but it all kind of comes together when you realize just what Mercedes is hawking (yeah, pun intended).
It's for the manufacturer's Magic Body Control, found on the new S-Class. The system basically analyzes the road and prepares the suspension accordingly, leading to a ride that is, in the words of our own Chris Paukert "nothing short of spooky." Mon, 25 Mar 2013In a world where the YouTube hoax continues to thrive, it's hard to know what to think of this little vid, but here are the facts as we know them: a coupe that looks like a first-generation Mercedes-Benz CLK gets crushed by a giant front-end loader. There you have it.
Our questions arise in the aftermath - we know industrial resource machinery is heavy, but the Benz gets squashed so flat we wonder if someone's trying to play a joke on us. We hear that the white coupe may have been the heavy-equipment operator's foreman's car, but who knows? The on-camera interview seems awfully conveniently placed, yes?
