This car has been my daily driver and it's been great getting 31 MPG city, but I am looking to upgrade to a truck. It has a clean title however it is an old car and definitely has some issues, I just don't have the time to work on it anymore. The engine was rebuilt at 165,000 and it comes with aftermarket rims and air intake and it has been slightly lowered. It also comes with the amp, sub, etc. 5 speed manual super fun car to drive. The engine has sort of a hiccup in it at the moment and I know it needs a new valve cover gasket. The A/C compressor turns on and the fan blows and everything but it needs to be recharged. The interior is ripping in some spots, and it has normal signs of being an old car but it's definitely a great car for the money. Located in Mesa Arizona, buyer is responsible for shipping and I accept cash or PayPal. No Personal Checks!

Needs:
valve cover gasket
A/C recharge
new tire
outside passenger door handle

Has:
aftermarket rims
aftermarket air intake
aftermarket headlights
loud skreech alarm
amp/sub combo
fresh oil change with top of the line high mileage oil

Honda could halve its US lineup without crimping its sales much [w/video]

Sat, 18 May 2013

Taking a detailed look at the Honda lineup in the US, it isn't hard to see the strength of some models and the weaknesses of others. A recent report on Autoline Daily points out that its five core models - the Accord, Civic, CR-V, Odyssey and Pilot - make up a full 93 percent of Honda's sales in the US. Through April, Honda has sold 419,798 vehicles, and 389,474 of them were from these core models; not to mention the fact that the Accord was the top-selling car in the US last month.
This means that Honda could technically cut six of its 11 models and only lose about 5,000 sales per month. Of course, this is just some data crunching and there is no reason to believe that Honda is planning to kill off any of its models in the near future. In fact, it seems to be committed to the Ridgeline, while Japanese-made models that may actually lose money for Honda still fill unique voids. Scroll down for the video report - fast-forward to the 1:43 mark for the Honda info.

Ward's Automotive Ten Best Engines of 2014 dominated by diesels, turbos

Thu, 12 Dec 2013

With the Car and Driver Ten Best decided, the North American Car and Truck of the Year finalists announced and Cadillac, Ram and Subaru chalking up wins with Motor Trend, it's fair to say that the automotive awards season is in full swing. The next set of trophies to be handed out will be from Ward's Automotive, which has announced the winners of its 2014 10 Best Engines.
The latest contest was marked by the widespread emergence of diesel power and the continued success of turbocharged engines. There was even an electric motor on this year's list. In fact, only three of the ten winners were naturally aspirated and only two winners returned from last year.
"We weren't looking to throw the bums out, as they might say about an election. We were just really impressed with the flood of new powertrains," said Ward's Automotive Editor-in-Chief Drew Winter. Those new powertrains include the 83-kilowatt electric motor from the Fiat 500e, the 1.0-liter, EcoBoost three-cylinder from the Ford Fiesta and the 2.0-liter turbodiesel from the Chevrolet Cruze.

Honda will build 2014 Accord Hybrid in Ohio

Thu, 10 Jan 2013

Honda has announced that it will invest $23 million in its Marysville, Ohio facility to support production of the upcoming 2014 Accord Hybrid sedan. According to the manufacturer, this means approximately 50 new jobs will be created, and the whole investment will result in a 95,000-square-foot expansion of the Marysville plant.
The Accord Hybrid joins the decidedly homely Accord PHEV (pictured) this fall, using a 2.0-liter i-VTEC Atkinson cycle four-cylinder engine mated to a 124-kilowatt electric motor. Honda has yet to release official power or fuel economy figures for the non-plug-in hybrid version of the Accord.
Honda currently operates four manufacturing facilities in Ohio, with the combined capacity to build up to 700,000 cars and light trucks each year. The Japanese automaker also has a facility in Greensburg, Indiana, where the Civic Hybrid and Acura ILX Hybrid are built.
