1966 Ford F100 on a 1984 Ford Bronco chassis, with a 351 CID (5.8L) Windsor V8 engine. Truck has 6" lift, 35"x12.5" tires on 16.5" wheels. Truck has a dixie horn, hydraulic lift on the hood, truck box, light bar that is fully functional, working radio/CD player, restored dash in the original red paint, and carpet. Truck is a 4 speed, with 1st being a granny gear, all four gears working properly, with 4WD locking hubs for 4WH and 4WL. Engine runs clean, suggest using lead additive every few fill ups as it doesn't like ethanol gas all that well. Interior has no headliner, gaskets/weatherstripping around doors, or upholstery on doors. Windows are in excellent shape with cranks for both the driver and passenger. After market 12V auxillary power socket has been attached underneath dash. Truck has bench seat, needs reupholstery/replacement as foam is exposed- framing is slightly bent. Rides smooth. Dual pipe bumper on front with winch, and chrome bumper on rear with trailer hitch. Truck is available for local pick-up and purchase only, and is also being listed locally for sale on additional websites. I am not the original owner, bought this truck a year ago as a project truck, and after fixing it mechincally, have run out of time to continue fixing aesthetics (paint, interior, new 18" wheels, rhino line the cab). Looking for someone who will enjoy it as much as I have and finish it off- beautiful project truck that is mechincally sound, and only needs a little TLC.

NHTSA closes investigations into Ford Taurus, Hyundai Santa Fe
Wed, 03 Jul 2013Ford and Hyundai are out from under the scrutinizing eyes of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration after the government agency said it was closing investigations against both automakers over vehicle safety concerns.
Ford was being investigated for reported damaged speed control cables on Ford Taurus (shown above) and Mercury Sable models, both built between 2000 and 2003. Vehicles with the company's Duratec engines allegedly failed to allow owners to brake as expected. Owners lodged 100 complaints and were involved in five accidents, according to NHTSA records. The American automaker responded to the reports, and on June 21 of this year, said that it would inspect and repair all affected vehicles, regardless of the mileage.
Hyundai was under investigation for a reported loose fastener on the steering shaft of its 2011 Santa Fe (shown in the gallery below). After NHTSA launched its inquiry, the Korean automaker responded with its own investigation that yielded four affected vehicles. Following the inspection of 680 vehicles at its assembly plant, Hyundai said the issue was due to employee error and that no further defects have been found.
Ford stops JV work In Russia, Stellantis donates to Ukrainian refugees
Wed, Mar 2 2022Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is obviously killing civilians and destroying infrastructure throughout the country. ItÂ’s also affecting the auto industry there and across wider Europe, from the wiring harnesses we mentioned earlier today to new announcements from Ford and Stellantis. And thereÂ’s reason to think in bigger terms than todayÂ’s business deals, since there are massive lithium deposits in the ground in Ukraine. What this means for raw materials for future electric vehicles canÂ’t yet be determined, but itÂ’s worth thinking about as the world reacts to RussiaÂ’s actions. Following decisions by Apple and other major automakers to stop or otherwise curtail activities in Russia, Ford announced that it will suspend all of its joint venture operations in Russia, effective immediately, until further notice. “As part of the global community, Ford is deeply concerned about the invasion of Ukraine and the resultant threats to peace and stability,” the company said in a statement. “The situation has compelled us to reassess our operations in Russia. In recent years, Ford has significantly wound down its Russian operations, which now focus exclusively on commercial van manufacturing and Russian sales through a minority interest in the Sollers Ford joint venture.” Even though Stellantis only has 71 employees based in Ukraine, it announced today it will donate 1 million euros (around $1.1 million U.S.) to Ukrainian refugees and civilians. StellantisÂ’ head of operations in Ukraine will help the automaker work with local non-governmental organizations that are supporting Ukrainians to get the funds where they need to go. “Stellantis condemns violence and aggression and, in this time of unprecedented pain, our priority is the health and safety of our Ukrainian employees and families,” Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares said in a statement. “An aggression that shook a world order, already unsettled by uncertainty, has been launched. The Stellantis community, made of 170 nationalities, looks with dismay as civilians flee the country. Even if the scale of casualties is not yet apparent, the human toll will be unbearable.” As of this morning, Stellantis said all of its 71 employees there were safe. This is not a normal line to read in automotive press releases, but this is not a normal time.
