1987 Chevy Scottsdale R10 Pickup, Very clean inside and out. New tires, New rear springs and new front suspension parts. The truck drives like a new pickup. I would drive this truck across the country with no problems. The Air condition work great. Runs great and gets good gas mileage with the 4.3 engine. Still has the Rusty Jones stickers on the windows. A solid body with no rust! The interior is like a brand new truck. It has only 52,000 original miles and kept in a heated garage. Dose not see snow or rain. This is a truck that is driven on the weekends so has some chips on the hood and maybe two door dings on the hole truck. You wont be disappointed in this truck. What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? Fri, 22 Mar 2013When it comes to technology used in racecars, we generally expect it to trickle down to production cars, not the other way around. Well, Pratt & Miller has developed a new rear-facing radar that operates in a similar fashion to what we're used to in modern blind spot detection systems, only it is also capable of tracking cars as they approach and relaying vital information to the driver via a large display screen.
The innovative radar system debuted at last weekend's 12 Hours of Sebring for Corvette Racing, and this system makes perfect sense for endurance races like this since the cars sometimes have to drive through the night and in poor weather conditions.
The radar can detect cars even with poor visibility, and uses easy-to-distinguish symbols for the driver to identify.
