This is my 2002 Chevy Express 3500 Box Truck with a 6.5 Turbo Diesel. The truck has around 167/168k miles. If anyone needs the exact mileage I will happily walk out to the truck and turn it on. We are still using this truck on occasion. I purchased it for cleaning out storage units but
since the TV shows started I haven't been able to do that much anymore so I'm selling the truck. About a year ago the motor broke the crank shaft and I purchased a State-owned van that only had 80k mileage on it. I put both the Motor and Transmission in my truck. Having owned several of the infamous 6.5 turbo diesel's this one is by far the quietest and strongest running I have seen. I have done the PMD Modification to this truck and the Pump Driver is located on the front top next to the air breather and is easily accessible. The Box on this truck is around 20' including the overhang. I will make sure all six tires have at least 8/32's on them. The only issue I have with this truck is the transmission cable is slightly too short and the truck will not shift into first gear. This is not an issue with the transmission as I can unhook the cable and manually shift it into first gear. The truck is available to view locally in Harrington, Delaware |

Watch this time-lapse build of the Chevy SS for NASCAR
Fri, 08 Feb 2013There's only about a week left until we get our first look at the production version of the 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan, but Chevrolet NASCAR teams have been looking at the race version of the car all winter. Autoweek has posted a really neat time-lapse video showing just a portion of what it takes to build one of NASCAR's new Gen6 stock cars.
Though the video is quite brief, it does show almost the entire build process starting with just the car's nose, and it gives us a good look at how integral the template is to the final product. As a bonus, Hendrick Motorsports also provided some videos showing two of its teams performing pit stop tests over the winter. The second video shows some of the more detailed aspects of the racecar's rear end, including the stock-looking trunk cutout and a newly mandated rear bumper extension that will be used on super speedways like Daytona and Talladega.

GM recalling over 243,000 crossovers over possible seat belt defect

The summer of 2010's recall hit parade continues unabated today, with General Motors having just announced that it is asking 243,403 owners of its 2009-2010 Lambda crossovers to bring their three-row haulers in for inspection. The culprit? Second-row seat belts in select Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Saturn Outlook CUVs have "failed to perform properly in a crash."
According to GM, a second-row seat-side trim piece is to blame, as it can impede the upward rotation of the buckle after the seat is folded flat. As a result, if the buckle makes contact with the seat frame, cosmetic damage can occur, potentially requiring additional force to operate the buckle properly. So far, no great shakes, but in the process of applying that additional force, the occupant may push the buckle cover down to the strap, potentially revealing and depressing the red release button. As a result of this, the belt may not latch, or in certain cases, it may actually appear to be latched when, in fact, it isn't.
